Lauren Harries has told how she ‘came back from the dead’ after falling into a coma during a recent health scare.
The former Celebrity Big Brother star, 45, underwent emergency brain surgery last year after suffering terrible headaches and blackouts and was placed in induced come surgery after the procedure.
She was in the hospital for seven months before finally going home in December.
When she went to X on Wednesday, the former TV star said she had holes in her head after the operation and went to “another dimension.”
She wrote: ‘I was dead and in a coma, but now I’m alive. I had to learn to walk again and do everything again. After the brain surgery left five holes in my head.

“I went to another dimension, what you call an outer body experience, let’s be such a beautiful place. I’ll tell you about it soon.’
Several of Lauren’s followers wished her well in the comments, with one writing: “Sending love Lauren, such a remarkable recovery.”
Another wrote: ‘Glad you’re healing well Lauren, I can’t imagine how scary your hospital stay was!’
A third user wrote: ‘I love hearing about near death experiences and fully believe that this life is just a stepping stone for many. You must have felt great comfort from it.’
Lauren was admitted in April after terrible headaches and blackouts and later underwent emergency brain surgery.
Her mother Katy revealed that doctors discovered a split in Lauren’s spine during an MRI scan, meaning she needed ‘risky’ surgery.
However, Katy sadly informed fans that the operation was ‘botched’ and that Lauren would remain in hospital for the foreseeable future, despite being desperate to ‘go home’.
She wrote: ‘Lauren had to undergo spinal surgery due to a fracture in her spine. This was very painful. It is concerning because the spine is the most dangerous place to have surgery next to the brain.”

‘Unfortunately the operation was unsuccessful so doctors are exploring other options. She has now been in hospital for over 2.5 months.’
‘Her spine is a concern for doctors and she will have to stay longer. We don’t know why or how this happened. She just wants to go home.”
In August, Lauren revealed that doctors told her she might never walk again.
The former Celebrity Big Brother housemate said she was in shock after the news and asked fans ‘what am I going to do?’.
In the post she wrote: ‘Today I was told I may never walk again, I’m still in shock.’
