Lauren Boebert’s ex-husband comes to her defense, begging critics to give her ‘a chance’ after theater-grabbing video in which he says he is to blame and the ’cause’ of her problems

Lauren Boebert’s ex-husband has defended her amid backlash over a video of her and her date fondling each other in a theater last week, claiming he is partially responsible for her lewd behavior.

The Colorado congresswoman sparked outrage after she and her boyfriend Quinn Gallagher were caught on camera doing some heavy petting during a Beetlejuice performance in Denver.

They were kicked out of the theater, after which Boebert was caught giving an usher the finger as she stormed out of the family-friendly play.

Jayson Boebert, who was married to the politician for 18 years before filing for divorce in May, has defended the mother of his four children, saying his years of infidelity “destroyed her.”

‘A large part of this is my fault, because the problem starts at the root. I am the carrot,” Boebert said Monday.

In a lengthy apology on Facebook, he said he could not remain silent amid the “attacks” on his former husband and that “this is partly my fault,” pleading with her voters and the nation to “give her a chance.” .

DailyMail.com revealed on Wednesday that Boebert and Gallagher (pictured), a divorced father of a 16-year-old son, have been secretly dating for several months

“As I look at the attacks against Lauren, I believe people need to know the truth about our broken marriage and the burden she has carried for too long,” he said, adding that they take “full responsibility” for their divorce took.

In his effervescent post, he called Boebert “an exceptional woman, mother and now grandmother” and the “hardest working person I know.”

Addressing the congresswoman’s district and the nation, he said, “She deserves a chance to earn your forgiveness and regain trust” after footage of her misconduct on the show last week.

The video in question, which surfaced last week, showed Boebert taking selfies during the performance, dancing wildly in her seat and vaping.

When a pregnant lady sitting behind her asked her to stop, she called her a “sad and miserable woman.”

Boebert and Gallagher were ejected from the theater by ushers, with an embarrassed Gallagher offering to buy the pregnant woman cocktails as an apology.

Boebert was again captured on camera in the lobby giving the ushers the finger as she left.

Colorado Congresswoman Lauren Boebert can clearly be seen vaping during the performance

Boebert, 36, denied vaping – despite doing so in full public view and on camera. Her spokesperson said there had been “a misunderstanding by someone sitting next to her” who had not noticed the “heavy fog machines and electronic cigarettes used during the piece.”

Boebert initially denied the vaping claims, claiming the smoke was actually from a fog machine, and issued a sarcastic statement that downplayed the anger.

But she made a dramatic U-turn on Friday night, blaming her behavior on her “public and difficult divorce.”

“The past few days have been difficult and humbling, and I am truly sorry,” she wrote in a statement.

“There is no perfect blueprint for going through a public and difficult divorce, which has created a challenging personal time for me and my entire family over the past few months.”

Boebert’s divorce from 36-year-old Jayson, her husband of 18 years and father of her four sons, is still ongoing following the couple’s shocking divorce in May.

Boerbert has maintained that she had been faithful throughout her marriage. Her ex-husband has now admitted to being unfaithful.

In 2004, Jayson Boebert pleaded guilty to exposing himself to a 17-year-old at a bowling alley.

Boebert described their divorce as “devastating” and made it clear that he was entirely responsible for the failure of their marriage.

“I was unfaithful to Lauren in so many ways. I should have always done my best, just like them.

“My actions were selfish and thoughtless, and I did not consider the consequences they would ultimately have on the person I hold most dear in my heart.”

He also made it clear that the suggestion that his Republican ex left him because of her “fame or a new lifestyle” was “far from the truth.”

DailyMail.com revealed on Wednesday that Boebert and Gallagher, a divorced father of a 16-year-old son, have been secretly dating for several months.

She also danced in her seat, much to the annoyance of other theatergoers – including the pregnant woman sitting behind her, who asked her to stop and was called a “sad and miserable woman.”

Boebert has also put her behavior on the show is due to her “overly animated personality.”

“I was a little too eccentric,” she told One America News Network.

“I’m known for having an animated personality. Perhaps an overly animated personality.

‘I laughed, I sang and had a fantastic time.

“I was told to sort it out a bit, which I did, but then my next mistake was taking a photo.”

Boebert has also blamed the media for focusing too much on her raucous behavior.

She said, “We just had Kevin McCarthy, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, announce the impeachment inquiry.

“We are facing a government shutdown and trying to fund the federal government. We have a wide open southern border.”

‘And what’s the main story? Lauren Boebert is getting kicked out of theaters.”

Boebert’s campaign manager Drew Sexton said, “I can confirm the stunning and salacious rumors: On her personal time, Congresswoman Lauren Boebert is indeed a supporter of the performing arts (gasp!) weekend performance of Beetlejuice.”
