Lauren Boebert used campaign funds to buy tickets to cheer boyfriend Quinn Gallagher on to 774th place in grueling Colorado bike race – weeks before the couple were kicked out of Beetlejuice performance

Republican firebrand Lauren Boebert spent hundreds of dollars in campaign donations to watch a sporting event in which the man she was secretly dating was taking part, DailyMail.com can reveal.

Footage obtained by DailyMail.com shows the Colorado congressman cheering Aspen bar owner Quinn Gallagher, 46, across the finish line of the Leadville Trail 100 MTB on August 12.

The race, which covers 100 miles of extreme, high-altitude terrain, is billed as one of the most prestigious cross-country mountain bike events in the world and costs $475 to enter.

According to the race's website, Gallagher finished 774th out of 1,788 entrants, finishing in a time of 9 hours, 58 minutes and 40 seconds – an average pace of just over 10 miles per hour.

He was photographed crossing the finish line. Trapped in the corner of the frame, Boebert appears ecstatic as she cheers him on.

Federal Election Commission records obtained by DailyMail.com now show that Boebert used campaign funds to spend $339.94 on “event tickets” to witness the moment that took place more than a month before Boebert's relationship with Gallagher went public came to light.

Boebert's office did not immediately respond when asked for comment.

The endurance race starts and ends in the town of Leadville and features an elevation gain of nearly 40,000 feet in the thin Rocky Mountain Air. The entire course was within Boebert's congressional district until the 2022 election, when it was moved due to redistricting.

Their affair was thrust into the spotlight after a shabby public outing in September, when the couple was ejected from a Beetlejuice performance at a Denver theater.

Surveillance footage showed Gallagher fondling Boebert's breasts while she had her hand in his lap.

Patrons also complained that the congressman was vaping and singing along loudly.

The 36-year-old grandmother was at the time in the throes of a divorce from 42-year-old Jayson Boebert, her husband of 18 years, with whom she has four children.

Initially, she tried to downplay her relationship with Gallagher, leaning heavily on the oft-repeated narrative that this was just an over-enthusiastic first date.

But sources told DailyMail.com at the time that the pair had been seeing each other secretly for months.

That claim is now supported not only by her outing in Leadville a month before the Beetlejuice debacle, but also by an earlier occasion where it was discovered she had spent campaign money at the Gallagher-owned Hooch Craft Cocktail Bar.

Boebert and Gallagher sparked outrage in September after they were caught on camera fondling each other during a Beetlejuice performance in Denver and were kicked out of the theater.

In the days after the two were caught on camera in a compromising position, Gallagher declined to answer questions about their relationship status when DailyMail.com caught up with him in Aspen.

Last month, Politico reported that she had spent $317.48 in supporters' money at the bar as of July 31.

The trans-friendly establishment hosts the drag shows that Boebert has so vehemently condemned.

That same evening, records reviewed by DailyMail.com show that Boebert spent $137.71 in campaign money on an Uber — the estimated cost of a ride between Hooch and the congressman's home in Silt, Colorado.

Gallagher declined to comment on the status of his relationship with Boebert when contacted by DailyMail.com shortly after their date night in Denver made headlines.

But Boebert publicly suggested that the couple had broken up and that she has sworn off all “date nights” for now.

The controversial Republican initially tried to dismiss it all as a storm in a teacup whipped up by her political opponents.

Campaign manager Drew Sexton issued a statement dripping with sarcasm and even throwing shade at customers who had complained about the rep's behavior.

Sexton stated, “I can confirm the stunning and salacious rumors; Congresswoman Lauren Boebert is indeed a supporter of the performing arts in her personal time (gasp!) and, to the dismay of a select few, enthusiastically enjoyed a weekend performance of Beetlejuice.”

But when more footage emerged showing Boebert and Gallagher sitting over each other in their seats as she threw the bird at the security staff tasked with escorting them out of the building and demanded, “Do you know who I am?” ' Boebert struck a more contrite tone.

She said: 'The last few days have been difficult and humbling and I am truly sorry.

“There is no perfect blueprint for going through a public and difficult divorce, which has created a challenging personal time for me and my entire family over the past few months.”

Boebert's ex-husband makes $39,865 a month — nearly half a million a year — and nearly three times the second-year congresswoman's monthly income, according to papers filed in their divorce.

Documents seen by DailyMail.com show that Boebert sought $1,833.43 in child support for her four children, as well as $7,228.08 per month in spousal support in the divorce.

The divorce, which Boebert filed for in May after listing his separation date as April 25, was finalized after a hearing on October 10 and the terms have since been sealed.
