Rep. Lauren Boebert has been removed from the Texas Youth Summit speaker list after video footage showed her steaming and fondling her boyfriend Quinn Gallagher during a Denver performance of the musical Beetlejuice.
On Friday, organizers of the event, aimed at young conservatives ages 12 to 26, announced that Boebert had been added to the lineup, despite it already being public knowledge that she had been kicked out of the Buell Theater for disruptive behavior.
Social media posts captured via the MeidasTouch website show that the Colorado congresswoman was described by event organizers as a “devout Christian who strives to honor God in all she does.”
Those social media posts have since been deleted — including one for a VIP reception — and nearly identical posts have been added back to the Texas Youth Summit Facebook and Instagram pages, but without Boebert’s name and photo.
Several requests for comment, including to Texas Youth Summit founder Christian Collins, have been ignored.

On Tuesday, the Denver Post reported that Boebert was escorted from a Beetlejuice performance on Sunday night after being accused by venue officials of vaping, singing, recording and “creating a public nuisance.”
Denver’s NBC affiliate 9News a segment obtained from security footage released by Denver Arts & Venues on Tuesday evening that showed the Colorado congressman and Gallagher being asked to leave and get up from their seats.
At one point, Boebert, wearing a form-fitting gold dress, is seen giving the middle finger to the usher as she walks out.
After she and Gallagher go outside, she turns into the arms of the Aspen bar owner.
Boebert and her 18-year-old husband, Jason, announced they were divorcing in May. He is the father of her four children, including Tyler, who made Boebert a grandmother earlier this year.
Drew Sexton, Boebert’s campaign manager, denied that the congressman was vaping.
Sexton said it was “a misunderstanding by someone sitting next to her,” who did not notice the “heavy fog machines and electronic cigarettes used during the piece.”
He said that she had indeed taken a photo, without realizing that photography was not allowed.
In a social media post for the Texas Youth Summit, Boebert was described as a “devout Christian who strives to honor God in all she does.” Some of her unruly theatrical behavior had become public by Friday’s announcement, but the groping video was released late Friday afternoon
The current list of speakers for the conference, which will take place outside Houston in late September, no longer includes the face and name of Rep. Lauren Boebert
“I can confirm the stunning and salacious rumors: In her personal time, Congresswoman Lauren Boebert is indeed a supporter of the performing arts (gasp!) said.
Boebert encourages everyone to see the play and its “fantastic cast, great visuals and lots of loud laughs,” Sexton said, “with a gentle reminder to leave their phones outside the auditorium.”
On Thursday evening, 9News obtained a longer portion of the security footage that confirmed Boebert was indeed vaping.
Confronted with those images, Boebert apologized.
“I honestly couldn’t remember vaping that night as I discussed the evening’s events with my campaign team while reaffirming my enthusiasm for the musical,” she said. “Regardless of my beliefs, it is now clear that this was not right; It was not my or my campaign’s intent to mislead, but we understand what this looks like.”
On Friday at the Texas Youth Summit, Boebert was announced as a speaker for the late September conference, which will take place outside Houston.
Another piece of footage emerged on Friday around 4.30pm, showing Gallagher rubbing the 36-year-old grandmother’s breasts while pulling on his crotch.
Boebert literally reached across the aisle, as Gallagher — whose bar has hosted drag shows — is a presumptive Democrat.
On Friday evening, Boebert blamed her behavior on her divorce.
“The last few days have been difficult and humbling, and I am truly sorry,” she said. “There is no perfect blueprint for going through a public and difficult divorce, which has created a challenging personal time for me and my entire family over the past several months.”
