Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan have been cast in the second season of the Peacock reality competition The Traitors.

Larsa, 49, and Marcus, 32, who appeared on The Real Housewives of Miami, have been confirmed as contestants on the series, People reported Wednesday.

The high-profile couple documented their travels on Instagram Stories as they arrived in Scotland on Wednesday, where production on the series has begun.

The premise of the reality show, which is hosted by Alan Cumming, pits competitors against each other for tricky tasks, with some secretly trying to sabotage the others.

The concept originated from the Dutch show De Verraders; it has also been adapted for Australia and the UK, with both versions airing on Peacock.

The show’s first season, which received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Casting for a Reality Program, featured 10 reality stars and 10 regulars in the cast.

The second frame of the series will only feature big-name reality stars in the cast, according to the outlet, as filming will continue for a few more weeks.

The pair, who are linked to the Chicago Bulls NBA dynasty of the 1990s – Marcus is Michael Jordan’s son, while Larsa is Scottie Pippen’s ex-wife – will enter the game acknowledging their relationship.

In the Australian edition, a couple kept their romance a secret and were ultimately eliminated from the game.

People reported that the upcoming cast “consists of some of the biggest devious, strategic players in reality TV and beyond” in the upcoming frame, which was won by Survivor’s Cirie Fields last season.

Fields was pitted against notable names in the competition such as Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Brandi Glanville, Arie Luyendyk Jr. from The Bachelor and Shahs of Sunset star Reza Farahan.

Larsa and Marcus, who were first spotted together a year ago when they stepped out in their native Miami, have their own iHeartRadio podcast titled Fear of abandonmentwhich debuted last June.

Larsa told the publication that she first started talking to Marcus in 2019, and that they had “a great foundation as friends” before they started dating.

Larsa the outlet told us in February, she realized she had feelings for Marcus when she saw another woman approaching him while they were out together.

“I think it was one night we went out and there was a girl there,” Larsa told People. ‘She tried to talk to him, and it made me jealous.

β€œAnd it was weird because I’m not really a jealous person, but I was jealous of the situation. And then I thought: maybe I really like him. That sealed the deal.”

The couple’s relationship will be documented on the upcoming season of Real Housewives of Miami, which will air on Bravo.
