Lana Del Rey scores her fifth number-one album on Australia’s ARIA Charts, beating country stars Luke Combs and Morgan Wallen
Lana Del Rey has now achieved five number one albums on Australia’s ARIA Albums Chart.
The Young and Beautiful singer, 37, took the top spot this week with her ninth studio album, Did You Know There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd.?
The critically acclaimed album dethroned Morgan Wallen’s One Thing at a Time,
It marks Lana’s eighth top ten album in Australia and her fifth number one.
He first topped the chart with his debut Born To Die in 2012, followed by Ultraviolence in 2014, Honeymoon in 2015, and Lust For Life in 2017.

He missed out on the top spot with 2019’s Norman F***ing Rockwell, and Chemtrails Over The Country Club and Blue Bannisters, which both premiered in 2021.
His latest release, which dropped on March 24, was one of four debuts to storm the top ten this week.
Lana was in good company with the likes of Luke Combs, Fall Out Boy, and Matt Corby.
Corby, who first rose to fame on Australian Idol in 2007, returned to the charts after a four-year absence with his third studio album, Everything’s Fine, which debuted at number eight.
Lana first topped the list with her debut Born To Die in 2012, followed by Ultraviolence in 2014, Honeymoon in 2015, and Lust For Life in 2017.
Everything’s Fine marks Matt’s third ARIA Top 10 hit after Telluric peaked at number one in 2016 and Rainbow Valley peaked at number four in 2018.
Meanwhile, country singer Luke Combs’ Gettin’ Old peaked at number two marking his fourth Top 10 hit in Australia.
He previously topped the charts with his second album, What You See Is What You Get, in 2019.
Fall Out Boy’s So Much (For) Stardust hits number four, marking a major comeback for the band.
On the ARIA Singles Chart, Ed Sheeran has made a triumphant return with Eyes Closed launching at number six.
His latest song was produced with Max Martin and Shellback, and serves as the lead single from his upcoming album Subtract.
Matt Corby, who first rose to fame on Australian Idol in 2007, returned to the charts after a four-year absence with his third studio album, Everything’s Fine.
