Kylie Jenner has revealed that she’s gone from a long-running makeup routine to an unapologetic-faced beauty by opting for a more natural look.
The makeup mogul, 25, has ‘changed’ [her] look a lot’ in recent years ranging from a reality star known for her glamorous and daring cosmetics to someone who often omits a swipe of paint.
In a video with FashionKylie gave fans a makeup tutorial, revealing that she’s prioritized her “self-care” and “loving herself” over the past year.
While explaining her routine where she “wears less” and still achieves “that ripped-away look,” she also revealed a few “secrets” of her own brand that have become her “go-to” items.

In a video with Vogue, Kylie gave fans a makeup tutorial starting with using a lip scrub and moisturizer
At the beginning of the video, she said, “Hi guys, it’s Kylie and I’m back. I missed you, Vogue. And I just wanted to update you on my new routine and also share all my secrets with you.’
Kylie – who confessed that she would probably be listening to SZA’s new album when she wasn’t filming – explained that she doesn’t do her makeup “every day”, adding that she does her hair “most of the time”. ‘face lets breathe’.
The glamorous reality TV star started with a bare face and began using a Lip Scrub ($21) from her Kylie Skin brand.
She explained that she likes to start with a lip scrub before starting her routine, especially if she knows she’s going to do a “bold lip or a matte lip.”
She then dove into her look that has changed over the years.
Kylie said, “I’ve changed my look a lot. I think I like the more natural skin. I wear a lot less, but I’ve achieved the same gripped look.’
After scrubbing her lips, the star slicks back the front sections of her hair before applying “two pumps” of the Kylie Skin moisturizer ($25) to her hand.
She then revealed her “first secret,” a Kylie Skin Foundation that has yet to be released.
‘This is one of my foundation samples. My first secret of this entire video. Do not tell anyone. I’m obsessed. This is my go-to,” she said.
The beauty mogul put a drop of foundation on her hand and mixed it with her moisturizer.
Kylie revealed that she likes to use her hands when applying foundation because it’s an “intimate experience” and makes her feel more “natural.”
She then used the Nudestix Bronzer ($35) and applied it to her cheekbones, forehead, jawline, and nose.
She explained that she uses much less contouring now than in the past, which she likes because it’s “less harsh.”

After contouring, the star adds a pop of blush to her cheeks with her own Kylie Skin Glow Balms ($17).
She revealed that she likes to mix a “peachy” and “neutral” shade.
She added that you can even apply the Glow Balms — which are said to provide “buildable color with no clumps or streaks” — on your lips.
Then Kylie remembered the days when she spent hours on her makeup with an “unreal” amount of “powder.”
The reality star referenced the 2018 Vogue video she did in which she went for another glam day.
Five years later, Kylie opts for just a “little bit” of the Givenchy Setting Powder ($59).
The beauty mogul — who likes to do her own makeup because it’s “very therapeutic” — admitted that she gets “inspiration” for her looks everywhere, but mostly on “Pinterest.”

“I’m in a very experimental era with makeup and I’m so willing to try new things and new looks,” said Kylie.
She then revealed “another secret”: the Kylie Skin Cream Shadows, which have yet to appear.
After applying the cream shadow, she used the Kylie Skin Bronze Eyeshadow Palette ($32).
Then she does a little wing of Kyliner Eyeliner ($18) to give her eyes an “almond shape.”
She tends to use concealer to take the end of the eyeliner off, to make it “sharp and clean.”
Kylie — who was once known for her immense wrinkle that led to the launch of her iconic lip kits — revealed that she now lines her lips just a little bit because she’s dissolved most of her lip filler.

As for eyebrows, the makeup mogul revealed that she keeps them natural rather than overfilling them.
She used the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Pencil ($23) to lightly fill in her brows and the Kosas Eyebrow Gel ($24) to set them, giving them a “natural” and “bushy” look.
She then applied the Nudestix Highlighter ($35) before finally revealing her final secret.
Kylie revealed that she launched a KyLash Volume Mascara that “would appeal to everyone.”
She explained that she wanted to start by explaining her natural lashes, which she gets from her mom Kris, who has “the best lashes.”
‘I wore eyelash extensions for years and then stopped. I just really wanted to embrace my natural lash because I have very good eyelashes. My mother has the best eyelashes,’ she explained.
She added that she directs her mascara towards the corner of her eye to give her eye an “almond shape.”
