Several social media users reacted to Kylie Jenner’s Saturday announcement of naming her son Aire, which many users pointed out translates to slang for penis in Arabic.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians beauty, 25, welcomed her second child with rapper Travis Scott, 31, on February 2, as they are also parents to four-year-old Stormi.
The Los Angeles-born makeup mogul showed pictures of her son captioned ‘AIR’.
The latest: Several social media users reacted to Kylie Jenner’s announcement on Saturday of her son’s name as Aire, which many users pointed out translates to slang for penis in Arabic. She was photographed in November in Los Angeles.
The revelation sparked a number of reactions, as journalist Antoinette Lattouf tweeted: ‘Umm, should someone tell Kylie Jenner she changed her son’s name Aire, which is a common Arabic expression for ‘my penis’ or not? Anyway, I doubt many people have noticed. After all, Arabic is only spoken by about 415 million people.’
One user said in response to Lattouf: ‘Leave her alone. I’m waiting for the episode where one of her sisters says “little Aire is getting so big”.
Others responded to the revelation with memes, one-liners and GIFs, with one person saying: “Sorry, but these jokes about Kylie Jenner naming her son Aire will never get old.” Anyone who disagrees is ad*** (see what I did there)’.
One user, noting how the Kylie Cosmetics businessman and Scott had previously named the boy Wolf, said: “That poor boy will be renamed again.”

“We didn’t really have a name, I just thought it would come to mind when we saw it and it didn’t,” the Life of Kylie personality previously said. ‘Twenty-four hours before we had to sign the birth certificate, or they just register it without a name and you don’t get a social security number.
“Then I felt the pressure to choose a name, and then Khloe said, the day before I signed, ‘What about Wolf?’
He continued: ‘I like the WW, so we just put Wolf Webster in at the time. Immediately after signing the birth certificate, I thought, “What did I just do?” It’s part of his story, but his name has changed.
