Kyle Sandilands and Tegan Kynaston will tie the knot on Saturday in a lavish ceremony at a $60 million mansion in Sydney.

And despite pouring nearly $1 million into their big day, the couple faces a “very high chance” of rain and a “potential thunderstorm” that could ruin their marriage.

The temperature is between 16 and 21 degrees with a ‘cloudy’ sky and a 100 percent chance of rain.according to the Bureau of Meteorology.

After Sandilands called in sick for his radio show on Friday, newscaster Brooklyn Ross read the weather report and told listeners to “enjoy the sun while it lasts.”

‘Enjoy the sun while it lasts, because the wedding forecasts are also rain and thunder. Rain for Sunday,’ Ross said.

Sandilands’ co-host Jackie “O” Henderson said she should buy a new umbrella to match the floral dress she wears to the wedding.

“Kyle has decided to take today off! I know there are so many people in town and there’s still a lot to do,” she continued The Kyle and Jackie O Show.

“I can’t believe the weather tomorrow, it’s going to rain from 8am to midnight!” she added.

“What if he’s tied to a lamppost somewhere?” he added jokingly.

Executive producer Pedro Vitola suggested that Sandilands had failed to show up for work because he was busy “putting up extra marquees for the rain.”

The late Victorian Gothic Revival mansion in Darling Point has hosted a number of prestigious events for Sydney’s elite over the years.

Socialite Nadia Fairfax married financier Michael Wayne there in 2021.

Owned by Shane and Penelope Moran of the Moran Health Care Group family, the $60 million home was built between 1876 and 1883 and features 56 rooms, beautiful grounds, and harbor views.

Speaking on The Kyle and Jackie O Show earlier this week, Sandilands revealed the exorbitant amount of money he had spent on his upcoming nuptials.

He spent an estimated $1 million on the wedding, which is his second after marrying Tamara Jaber in 2010 (they divorced two years later).
