Kourtney Kardashian says she ‘misses’ husband Travis Barker as he goes back on tour with Blink-182… after he jetted home to be by her side for emergency fetal surgery

Kourtney Kardashian is pining for her love Travis Barker after he hit the road again following their upcoming baby’s recent health scare.

The 44-year-old star of The Kardashians shared on Wednesday that she “missed” her beloved husband when she posted a video of him rocking out with his band Blink-182.

He pounded the skins in a short clip she posted to her Instagram Stories, though it wasn’t clear if it was from the band’s concert on Tuesday in Copenhagen or Wednesday’s show in Stockholm, or even from an earlier concert date .

The world tour, which will continue into the spring of 2024, features the recently reunited and most popular version of the group, with Barker, bassist and vocalist Mark Hopper and returning guitarist and vocalist Tom DeLonge.

Travis and the band were forced to reschedule several tour dates earlier in September after he had to fly home to California to be with Kourtney after she suffered a terrifying health complication and required emergency fetal surgery to save their child’s life.

In the clip, Travis performed shirtless as usual to show off his plentiful tattoos while rocking a black beanie on his shaved head.

He hit the snare and tom drums hard, before turning left and livening things up with his hi-hat and cymbals.

It wasn’t clear from the video’s limited cell phone audio whether he was playing a drum solo, or if he was playing an energetic role while the rest of the band was shredding.

Kourtney shared her longing for her love in a short caption for the clip.

“I miss my husband,” she wrote, adding a laughing, teary-eyed emoji and tagging the pop-punk rocker.

Kourtney’s fans previously expressed concern for her after Travis left the Blink-182 tour on September 1, which a statement from the band attributed to an “urgent family matter.”

He later shared on Twitter that he was “flying home for life-threatening emergency surgery for our baby, which I am so thankful went well.”

Kourtney gave her own update on September 6 with a black-and-white photo of her and Travis’ clasped hands as she had an IV inserted at her wrist.

‘I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side after the tour to be with me in the hospital and then take care of me, my rock. And to my mom, thank you for holding my hand through this,” she wrote.

Kourtney then revealed that despite pregnancy complications, she still wasn’t ready for what happened.

The mother of three continued: ‘As someone who has had three very easy pregnancies in the past, I was not prepared for the fear of having to undergo emergency fetal surgery.

‘I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can understand that feeling of fear. I have a whole new understanding and respect for the moms who had to fight for their babies during pregnancy.

‘God be praised. Carrying my son in my belly and walking out of the hospital safely was the biggest blessing.”

On Friday, Travis’ band Blink-182 announced the postponement of some European tour dates due to an “urgent family matter” that forced him to run home.

Travis wrote on Twitter on Wednesday: “God is amazing. I flew home for life-threatening emergency surgery for our baby. I’m so grateful this one went well. I want to thank you for all the support. The tour will resume on Friday.”

‘She feels better. She is also happy that Travis is back home,” the source said.

What is fetal surgery?

Fetal surgery is a procedure performed on an unborn baby (fetus) in the womb (in the womb) to help improve the long-term outcomes of children with specific birth defects. Because these defects often worsen as a fetus develops, fetal surgery, performed by a team of experts, focuses on treating and improving conditions before birth.

Comprehensive health centers with expertise and experience in fetal surgery can treat many birth defects in the womb, including:

  • Bronchopulmonary storage of the lung
  • Congenital cystic adenomatoid malformation (CCAM) of the lung
  • Congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH)
  • Congenital upper airway obstruction syndrome (CHAOS)
  • Lower urinary tract obstruction (LUTO)
  • Sacrococcygeal teratoma (SCT)
  • Spina bifida (myelomeningocele)
  • Twin anemia-polycythemia sequence (TAPS)
  • Double reverse arterial perfusion (TRAP) sequence
  • Twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS)

Why was it done?

Before a baby is born, early intervention using fetal surgery can treat life-threatening birth defects and in some cases improve outcomes. For example, if a baby is diagnosed with spina bifida before birth, surgeons may perform open fetal surgery or a less invasive procedure using a fetoscope.
