Police have found a body in Sydney Harbor as they search for a young partier who disappeared after a night out with friends in a busy waterfront area.
The man, 26, was last seen in Darling Harbour’s King Street Wharf about 3.30am on Sunday after drinking and partying with friends at Bungalow 8 nightclub.
It was feared he had fallen into the water after no trace of him had been seen or heard since
PolAir police and the Navy Command launched an air and water search when the man was reported missing 15 hours later, around 6pm on Sunday.

The extensive search was stopped after several hours due to lack of light.
Police divers resumed their search of the harbor on Monday and found the man’s body in the waters of Barangaroo about 12.45pm.
“Although the body has yet to be formally identified, it is believed to be that of the 26-year-old man,” a police statement said.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
Bungalow8 has confirmed that the missing man had spent his last hours at the location drinking with friends early Sunday.
“Our thoughts are with the individual’s family and loved ones during this time,” a spokesperson said.
