Kimberly Guilfoyle delivered a fiery speech for President Donald Trump at the Republican National Convention on Wednesday, beginning with a reminiscence about the attempted assassination of her future father-in-law on Saturday.
“Like you, I have spent a lot of time in prayer these past few days and I know that God has protected Donald Trump!” she said as the crowd cheered and clapped.
Guilfoyle is the fiancée of Donald Trump Jr. and was the first speaker after Trump entered the arena, sitting next to members of his family in the executive booth.
“President Trump gave Biden a thriving economy and a strong country. All Joe had to do was leave it alone and take a nap,” she said. “But Joe just couldn’t help himself.”
Guilfoyle raised her voice during her speech, which was almost as passionate as her 2020 party conference address, which was met with astonishment and derision from the left.

“We will not be forced into obedience, we will not hide in silence, we will fight for America because we love America!”
She focused on popular issues like freedom of speech and protecting women’s sports from transgender participants.
“We will restore an era of national pride, where freedom of speech is respected and cancel culture is ended,” she said. “Where high school girls compete only with other girls, not biological males.”
Harris’s speech was warmly received by the crowd, who chanted “Trump Trump Trump!” and “USA!”

She closed with a rousing flourish, pointing to the audience and shouting into the microphone.
“Are you standing up for President Trump? Stand up! Stand up!!” she shouted. “Ladies and gentlemen, lovers of freedom and the American dream, this is tonight to make America great again!!”
Guilfoyle’s style of speaking has been criticized by the left, but her future father-in-law has said he has a soft spot for it.

In 2020, Trump reportedly praised called her speech one of the “greatest” in his memory and praised her for her “so much energy.”
However, comedian Stephen Colbert is described dismissing her as a ‘vengeful banshee who will haunt your dreams.’
Guilfoyle and Trump Jr. celebrated their 6th wedding anniversary in April. Trump Jr. honored her in an Instagram post to mark the occasion.
“Happy 6th anniversary Kimberly Guilfoyle,” he wrote. “Thanks for always being there no matter what the haters throw at us. I love you.”
