Kim Kardashian sparks shock cosmetic surgery theory after expert spots this one detail at Met Gala

Kim Kardashian’s appearance at Monday’s Met Gala has sparked a new theory about cosmetic surgery.

The reality TV star, 43, shocked fans with her impossibly thin waist on fashion’s biggest night, with some even wondering if some ‘ribs’ had been removed to fit into her Maison Margiela corset dress.

But now a new detail about her appearance has been noticed: her smooth hands.

Dana Omari-Harrell, who has a popular plastic surgery-themed Instagram account @IGFamousByDanadiscussed the theory that Kim had “hand padding,” two years after the star called her hands “wrinkly and dirty.”

Hand filling is a method in which fillers are injected into the back of the hands to improve the appearance of wrinkles and add volume.

Dana shared some photos from the Met Gala and compared them to older photos of Kim and concluded that she thought Kim had her hands ready.

‘Maybe she did radiesse*, fat transfer or sculptra (or a combination of them!). There are a few other products that people are also filling their hands with. Lasers and things like microneedling come back up and build collagen, but don’t FILL — but I do believe she’s done both laser resurfacing and filling,” she wrote in an Instagram post.

“(If there are) any other hand procedures or surgeries… I’ve never heard of them and don’t know of any surgeons who perform them.”

Dana added, “She’s also much thinner now than the previous times I pulled (all from 2018-2021), so her hands should be even less full than they are now after her weight loss – so it has nothing to do with the weight.’

The caption went on to say that Kim has previously worn gloves to many events and covered her hands with “sleeves or even jewelry.”

“She tends to point her hands toward her where the backs of her hands aren’t visible on camera.”

In a 2022 interview with Allure, Kim revealed that she hates her hands, calling them “wrinkly and dirty.”

“I hate my hands – they’re wrinkly and dirty,” said the mother of four, adding: “I’ve lived life and changed so many diapers with these hands and I’ve cuddled my babies with these hands, so I ‘ I’m okay with it.’

“I’ve come to terms with the fact that I’m not perfect, and I didn’t used to be that way,” she said.

Add: ‘[Getting older] doesn’t mean I won’t strive for perfection, but you get to a point where you think, “Okay, my health is more important than anything.”

Kim clarified that even though she’s at peace with her appearance, she “would still do anything to look and feel youthful.”

She revealed in the interview that she only has Botox applied to her forehead and claims she has not put filler in her lips or cheeks.

“Never filled in either,” before noting that her eyelashes are also real and that she doesn’t wear extensions.

‘I care. I think it’s really important to look good,” the star said.

“I probably care about more than 90 percent of the people on this planet. It’s not easy when you’re a mom and you’re exhausted at the end of the day or you’re in school and I’m doing all of the above,” Kim explained.
