But Kim, 42, has now rushed to the basketball player’s defense, admitting he is a “really good person.”

On this week’s episode of The Kardashians, Kim also revealed how Tristan ‘stood up’ for her as a single mother, following her split from ex-husband Kanye West.

She explained, “Oh, I know guys are gonna hate me for this and you’re gonna hate us and you’re gonna think Khloe is whatever… It’s so crazy because he’s such a good friend and he’s so good as a dad…but he just couldn’t get it done in that area, like he was a loyal friend,” Kim said.

“So it’s like you obviously want to hate him for that. Yeah, of course, his actions and who he was, so fucked up,” Kim admitted.

“We’ve had our conversations about it, we’ve had our fights about it and we’ve had our arguments about it,” she added, before moving to defend him.

‘But he has also shown so many good things and has just been a very good person and friend. When he saw that I was struggling with my children, he stepped down,” she said.

Kim then revealed that Tristan even started showing up at her son’s basketball games.

She explained: “He picked up Saint, takes them out for dinner and will always defend me, especially when it comes to things with me and my ex.”

“And I just never forgot that, so it’s like, I never really throw anyone away and pretend that I don’t feel like they can’t grow and evolve,” Kim added by way of confession.

In the season three finale of The Kardashians, Khloe revealed that she let Tristan move into her house with their two children True and Tatum.

Tristan suddenly lost his mother Andrea in January, with the NBA star becoming the primary caregiver for his 16-year-old brother Amari, who suffers from epilepsy.

Tristan was also dealt a blow when the roof of his house gave way due to surprisingly bad weather in January 2023, which led to Tristan and Amari moving in with Khloe.

Still, she made it clear that she wasn’t reconciling or starting a new relationship with him, as she explained, “I’m not naive about the fact that my ex-boyfriend lives in my house.”

“I never want to be someone that someone can accuse of misleading them when it comes to love. I’m so adamant about that because I’ve been on the receiving end of it myself, and I just don’t think love is something to be trifled with.”

And in the same episode, it seemed like Tristan kept trying to woo her.

Thompson opened up about his failures and even referred to Khloe — whom he dated on and off from 2016 to 2021 — as his “person.”

The scene featured Khloe and Tristan sitting together as they went through some of Tristan’s memories, like baby photos.

Tristan opened himself up and said: ‘In sports we are ready to be so tough, with an a**k you mentality. We’re competing in a field with so many people that’s like a dog-eat-dog world, and it wasn’t until I really had to look at myself and think, ‘I have to hold myself accountable.’

With a chance? And in the latest episode, Tristan appeared to try to woo Khloe, telling her she was his ‘person’

Guilty: ‘How come I like meeting my person? How come I did so many wrong things to him? Why did you put yourself through that?’ he said

He took a slight detour and continued, “You just have to be your own man and not worry about what people think or feel like you need other people’s validation.

“You know, True understands things, and Prince understands things and they go to school and they have classmates. The last thing I want them to do is feel ashamed because I’m their father.

“I think in this journey that I’m on now, especially what happened to my mother, I always ask myself, why do certain things hurt certain people?

“I think the thing that always sticks in my mind is: I know how much I care about you, I know how much I love you, you’re my best friend.

“How come I like meeting my person…how come I’ve done so many wrong things to him? Why did you put yourself through that?’ he said.

When asked by a producer if it’s hard for her to hear Tristan call her his person, Khloe then said, “Tristan has said before, I’m his person.” I’m not saying I don’t believe him, but I’ve heard this and of course it’s made me angry before because I thought, ‘If I am, why would you have treated me? in this way?

‘And how often? This isn’t a one-time thing and here we are. “I love love, and I’m a hopeless romantic, but that won’t change how I feel or what happened.”
