Khloe Kardashian had ‘accepted Tristan Thompson proposal ONE MONTH before he fathered child’

Khloe Kardashian reportedly got engaged just a month before he impregnated fitness model Maralee Nichols with then-boyfriend Tristan Thompson.

An insider told Buzzfeed that Khloe had secretly accepted Tristan’s proposal in February 2021 before cheating on her with Nichols in March.

It was also alleged that Khloe and Tristan were still engaged at the time DailyMail.com exclusively revealed in December that the NBA star had fathered a child behind her back.

Tristan was well aware that Nichols had a child on the way, but kept up with Khloe’s news and encouraged her to continue with their surrogacy. They went ahead with an embryo transfer in November 2021, weeks before the paternity scandal became public.

The claims made by Buzzfeed’s sources directly contradict the story told in Wednesday’s episode of The Kardashians, in which Khloe’s older sister Kim Kardashian suggested that the founder of Good American had rejected Tristan in December 2020.

But the insiders claimed that Khloe actually turned down his proposal in December 2019, but she and Tristan “reconsidered the subject” in February 2021, which she accepted.

Khloe and Tristan had rekindled their on/off romance, which was plagued by cheating on the part of the athlete, during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic.

It was during this time that the duo decided to embark on a surrogacy journey, according to Buzzfeed, which kicked off in October 2020.

In legal documents obtained by DailyMail.com last year, Tristan admitted that he first met Nichols in “late November/early December 2020” and that they dated “sporadically” for months.

He also stated that they fathered their child, a son named Theo who was born in December 2021, on March 13, 2021 – which was his 30th birthday.

That same month, Tristan and Khloe had made their newfound romance public.
