Oscar-winning actor Kevin Costner shared a sweet message of encouragement with his more than 998,000 Instagram followers about aging on his 68th birthday.
As he reflected on turning yet another year old, the Let Him Go star shared a sweet photo of himself smiling on his front porch as he beamed brightly for the camera.
Don’t believe what they say about getting old. Each passing year is a gift, and it gets better and better with time. Thanks for the birthday wishes,’ she captioned the image, in which she rocked a black cowboy hat, polo shirt and faded jeans.

Her comments section was inundated with sweet messages from former co-stars, including Brecken Merrill, who plays her grandson on the hit series Yellowstone.
‘Happy Birthday to the coolest TV Grandpa and legendary co-worker a kid could ever have! Hope there’s cake on your plate tonight,” Merrill wrote below the post.
While he didn’t reveal how he spent his birthday, the actor most likely spent time with his wife, Christine, and their children Cayden, 15, Hayes, 13, and daughter Grace, 12.

In addition to his and Christine’s three children, Costner has daughters Annie, 38, Lily, 36, and Joe, 34, with ex-wife Cindy Costner. And he has a son Liam, 26, with the ex Bridget Rooney.
In November, he opened up about being an “everyday family man” and loving his role as “provider” and “father.”
“When I’m not making a movie, I’m living on the highway with my wife, taking the kids to their stuff or waiting for them to leave a party. I’m just playing with my thumbs. People have the wrong idea of how my life works,” she told People.

Costner also insisted that she’s just “trying to figure out” parenting, like every other mom and dad.
“You have to get down on the ground and play with them,” he told the publication. And you teach them to be independent, and the sad thing about that is that they become that. I’m like any other parent: I’m trying to figure it out.’
Costner’s son Hayes will also appear in his upcoming epic Western series, Horizon.

The actor revealed that he chose his son in part to continue bonding with him.
‘I did it on purpose, so he could be dating me. And the same for Cayden, the same for Grace. “This is really cool. You should come with me,” she said.
