Kesha doubles down on her ‘F**k P. Diddy!’ lyric change and urges fans to learn the new words as she lands at LAX: ‘I want to hear it louder than ever’

Kesha shared that she will continue singing “F*** P. Diddy” after making the lyrical change to her hit song TiK ToK amid the rapper’s sex trafficking investigation.

The 37-year-old singer said the change is permanent and she wants her fans to learn the new words as she spoke TMZ upon arrival at Los Angeles International Airport on Thursday.

“Yes, it will be,” the star said when asked if the change is permanent. “The fans have to learn it,” she said, adding, “I want to hear it louder than ever.” I stand by that.’

Kesha said she hasn’t heard from Diddy, 54, about the diss, adding: “I’m not the kind of person to just shut up. I know what I stand for. I know my integrity is rock solid, so I speak the truth. And the industry can suck me a little bit.”

While performing her 2009 hit song at Coachella in April, Kesha changed the lyrics from “Wake up in the morning feelin’ like P. Diddy” to “Wake up in the morning like f**k P. Diddy.”

The Cannibal hitmaker was one of the surprise guests Renee Rapp, 24, brought along during her first set at the Coachella music festival in Indio, California.

As they sang the line, both ladies held their middle fingers in the air to reinforce the point. Kesha also took to her Twitter and echoed the message, writing in all caps: “WAKE UP IN THE MORNING LIKE F**KP DIDDY.”

The lyrical change comes as hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs faces sex trafficking and abuse allegations, with his homes in Los Angeles and Miami recently raided by federal agents.

Her fans quickly took to Twitter to discuss the change in lyrics.

Rapper 50 Cent – a former enemy of Diddy – shared the video of the performance on his Instagram and wrote: ‘LOL she said f**k P DIDDY, hahahahahah Puffy like 50 told her to say that!’

One commenter stated that the change in the text “shook them to the core.” Another person added, “Yes, Renee and Kesha ate that.”

“Kesha Renaissance is really happening, my god,” someone else wrote.

This isn’t the first time Kesha has turned the Diddy reference into her song. In November last year, Kesha completely removed Diddy’s name from the lyrics after he was accused of rape by ex-girlfriend Cassie in a bombshell lawsuit.

Kesha seemed to show solidarity with Cassie, after she filed a lawsuit against record producer Dr. in 2014. Luke.

She alleged that he drugged and raped her in 2005 and emotionally abused her for years.

He in turn accused her of defaming him, saying she had made up her claims in an attempt to get out of her recording contract, and that a trial would take place in New York this summer.

But in a joint statement in June 2023, it was announced that the pair had reached a resolution in the case.

Diddy is fighting lawsuits from multiple women accusing him of sexual assault, which he has vehemently denied.

The producer is also reportedly the subject of a sex trafficking investigation, which came into focus after his mansions in Los Angeles and Miami were simultaneously raided by Homeland Security agents in March.

Recently, the I’ll Be Missing You singer was named as a co-defendant in a lawsuit alleging that his son Christian “King” Combs sexually assaulted a woman who worked on a yacht he chartered.

The lawsuit filed Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court says Combs created the circumstances that led to the attack and paid to cover it up afterward.

Aaron Dyer, an attorney for Sean and Christian Combs, called the lawsuit “lewd and meritless” in a statement, adding, “We will file a motion to dismiss this outrageous claim.”

The raids came after the Harlem-born hip-hop star was hit with a slew of lawsuits for sexual assault, rape and other crimes after settling his ex-girlfriend Cassie’s similar lawsuit in November.

‘Enough is enough. Over the past few weeks, I have sat and watched as people tried to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy,” Diddy wrote on December 6 in his only statement on the matter.

“Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday. Let me be absolutely clear: I have not done any of the horrible things alleged. I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth.”

“I have decided to resolve this matter amicably, under terms over which I have some control,” Cassie said in a statement.

So far, Diddy has not been arrested in connection with the raids, nor has he been charged with any crime.

He turned his hip-hop empire into a broader business empire that includes private-label liquor, fashion and a TV network.
