Kerry Washington gave her fashion fans two great looks to choose from when she appeared on the Today Show in Manhattan on Thursday.
The 46-year-old actress was there to promote her new drama series Unprisoned, in which she plays the daughter of a man who has been released from prison following his latest sentence of 17 years (Delroy Lindo).
He also talked about sharing his life stories in a new memoir.
But Kerry put the spotlight on her impeccable fashion sense even before she sat down in front of the cameras when she arrived in a stunning neon green jacket with prominent quilted shoulders.
The look featured a thick black belt around her stomach, along with green hip pockets and chest pockets with black detailing.

Skipping the accessories, Kerry changed her clothes once she got to the studio in favor of a somewhat more conservative outfit.
She gave her waiting fans a glimpse after stepping out in a lovely white tweed mini dress featuring a speckled design with blue, yellow and purple accents.

In her new show Unprisoned, Kerry plays a therapist trying to unpack and heal her childhood traumas caused by her father’s many stints in prison.
While speaking with Savannah Guthrie, who returned to Today after taking several shows late last month after she contracted Covid-19, Kerry noted that “we do a lot of shows about going to prison” as well as a lot about “being in prison.” ‘, but he thought there was a dearth of programs dealing with how formerly incarcerated people readjust to life on the outside.
He added that the story could speak to many Americans, as 80 million Americans had criminal records and most also have family members adjusting to their freedom.
