Kerry Katona’s fashion brand at risk of being shutdown four years after launching as taxman threatens to seize assets in just weeks

Kerry Katona’s fashion brand is in danger of being closed within weeks.

The business, called Kerry’s Boutique, launched in 2020 and quickly became a huge success.

However, according to new documents filed with Companies House, Kerry’s brand assets could be seized by tax authorities as they say the company’s latest accounts are overdue.

The brand has received a First Gazette informing Kerry, 44, that steps had been taken to potentially delist the company.

The document, filed on October 8, read: ‘The Registrar of Companies gives notice that unless cause proves the contrary, the Company shall be struck off the register and dissolved not less than two months after the date shown above.

‘On the dissolution of the Company, all property and rights vested in or held in trust for the Company shall be deemed to be bona vacantia and shall vest in the Crown.’

The company’s social media has also been inactive in recent months, with no Instagram posts for 15 weeks.

MailOnline has contacted Kerry’s representatives for comment.

It comes after Kerry vowed to continue posting on her OnlyFans account despite her children being bullied at school.

The mother of five turned to the X-rated subscription site in 2020 to boost her dwindling finances.

But it seems her children have suffered along the way as Kerry revealed her five children have had a ‘hard time’ because of her adult subscription.

Kerry shares daughters Molly, 23, and Lilly-Sue, 21, with her first husband, Westlife star Brian McFadden, and has Heidi, 17, and Max, 16, from her marriage to Mark Croft.

She shares her youngest daughter, Dylan-Jorge, 10, with her late ex-husband, George Kay, who died in 2019 at the age of 39 after an overdose.

In particular, Kerry said her son Max has had a harder time from the ‘terrible’ human school while she was doing OnlyFans.

Speaking to New magazine, Kerry said: ‘All my children have had a hard time, but Max maybe a little more than the others because of who I am.

‘I feel guilty that my kids are getting into trouble, but I wouldn’t quit OnlyFans. I was famous before I started and OnlyFans is just one of the many jobs I do – and I do it for my kids.

“They have everything they could ever want and it pays off for this lifestyle. All I can do is make sure my kids know how much I love them – and they do.”

Kerry previously revealed she has made more than a million from OnlyFans.

The former Atomic Kitten star previously hit out at critics of her OnlyFans career, saying it’s no different for Hollywood stars filming sex scenes for movies.

She revealed that members of the public have said her children should be placed in care because of her racy career choice, and responded to the double standards during an appearance on comedy podcast, Straight To The Comments! , which embraces the hilarity and uniqueness of the MailOnline comments section featuring the celebrities in question.

Speaking to presenters Josh Pieters and Archie Manners, former lap dancer Kerry mused: ‘I thought, ‘s**t, how am I going to pay my rent?’ I had all five kids at home at the time and someone mentioned OnlyFans and I thought, ‘well, my photos are there anyway.’

‘So I sat the kids down and said, ‘look, there’s no work, I’m struggling, how would you feel if I started on OnlyFans?’ I said, ‘Obviously it will only be topless.’

She continued: “A lot of it is smoke and mirrors, I’m not doing anything that you haven’t seen on the big screen when you go to the cinema.

‘If you look at Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise riding dry or Natalie Portman destroying herself in Black Swan, getting awards and getting paid millions…

“Kerry Katona takes her nipples out and it’s ‘get those kids in foster care, those damn kids, get them off her.’ She deserves to be in jail!”

The singer added: “I started out as a model back in the day because I wasn’t going to be a rocket scientist. I don’t think so, I have the most phenomenal tits you’ve ever seen in your life.

“I had a size six waist and a 34 double D chest; they looked fake.

‘I was 18 and living in a council flat, I didn’t have any guardians or anything. I couldn’t get a nine-to-five job because they wanted me in the studio whenever it suited them.

‘I started lap dancing, and I was so proud of my tits, I thought I had a great set of tits. Before you know it, I’m in a girl band and all kinds of pictures are coming out. It was a nightmare. I go topless and build sand castles with my kids on the beach.’

However, Katie will still appear in a panto production of Cinderella, where she will play one of the Wicked Step Sisters alongside Kerry Katona.

Elsewhere in Kerry’s career, she is preparing to appear in a panto production of Cinderella, where she will play one of the Wicked Step Sisters alongside Katie Price.

The pantomime, which takes place at Northwich Memorial Court, Cheshire, in December, marks the first time the friends have worked together in 20 years.

Katie and Kerry, 44, burst onto the entertainment scene together in 2004 when they both went on I’m A Celeb and became close friends, but they had a bitter and public falling out in 2007.

The pair have mended their friendship in recent years, with Kerry reportedly helping Katie land the upcoming panto job amid her bankruptcy battle.

Kerry shared the exciting news about their upcoming performance, saying the show will be “one hell of a ride.”
