A Kentucky woman has been arrested after police discovered her 68-year-old mother’s dismembered body parts being cooked in a pan.
On Wednesday, Kentucky State Police responded to a report of a dismembered body found by a man working on the grounds of a home in Robertson County, a police spokesman said. statement.
“Two units arrived on scene and discovered the deceased body in the backyard. We obtained a search warrant and called in our special response team,” reports David Jones, a Kentucky State Police trooper WKYT.
After a 12-hour standoff, police arrested 32-year-old Torilena May Fields, who had barricaded herself in her Mount Olivet home.
Although police have not confirmed the identity of the body, several news outlets reported that the victim was her mother, Trudy Fields.

The man informed troopers that he had been at the property the day before and saw both the victim and Fields.

Police obtained a search warrant and entered the home after they were unable to contact Torilena.
When she finally emerged from her hiding place, she was covered in blood.
A thorough search of the property revealed a bloody mattress containing ‘several body parts and organs’.
The researchers also discovered a pot in the oven that contained cooked human body parts. The pot still felt warm.
