Jefferson was honored with the BMAC Quincy Jones Humanitarian Award, which recognizes her philanthropy and commitment to social justice.
Sylvia Rhone, chairman and CEO of Epic Records, received the Clarence Avant Trailblazer Award, according to the BMAC Billboard.
