Psoriatic arthritis is a form of arthritis related to psoriasis, a chronic skin and nail disease. It is similar to rheumatoid arthritis (RA) in symptoms and joint swelling (inflammation), but tends to affect fewer joints than RA, according to the Johns Hopkins Medicine website.

Her voice problems came in the wake of her years of recovery after she revealed she had stage one lung cancer, despite never having smoked cigarettes.

She also suffered “a bunch of injuries” when she felt herself walking down a flight of stairs during a period in her life when she attempted suicide.

It happened when she was admittedly addicted to pills after the backlash she received after posing with a gory effigy of then-President Donald Trump in 2017.

“I tried to commit suicide and ended up in the psych ward,” Kathy said while appearing on The New York Times podcast Sway.
