Presenter Karl Stefanovic breaks his silence on ‘Noosa Rumble’ with Michael Clarke today… months after their high-profile physical feud
Karl Stefanovic broke his silence on Thursday at the infamous Noose Rumble, nearly five months after his sister-in-law got into a public spat with her ex Michael Clarke.
The Today show host, 48, made a light-hearted comment about the incident while speaking to Daily Telegraph UK associate editor Camilla Tominey on the breakfast show.
Unaware of Karl’s situation, the British journalist spoke of how quickly news spread in Noosa after Prince Harry complained about press bombings against him there in 2003.
He was actually suggesting that the only way a photographer or a newspaper could have found out is if [his phone] been hacked,” Camilla said.
‘[However] you and I know that if Prince Harry showed up in Noosa with an entourage, everyone would know and someone would call a local newspaper and the next thing would be swarming with photographers. ‘

Camilla’s offhand remark hit close to home for Karl, who knew all too well how quickly the news spread in Noosa.
“You’re 100 per cent right about Noosa – I mean everyone has a phone there too,” he joked.
Co-presenter Sarah Abo couldn’t resist joining in when it became clear Camilla had no idea about Karl’s much-publicized incident in the Australian tourist destination.
The Today show host made a cutting comment about the incident during a conversation with Daily Telegraph UK editor Camilla Tominey who, unaware of the situation, said news travels fast in Noosa
“Obviously Camilla doesn’t read the Australian tabloids,” she ribbed.
Karl was filmed in January and made headlines when he was seen with Jade Yarbrough during her very public fight with cricketer Michael.
The socialite – who is the sister of Karl’s wife Jasmine – shouted obscenities at her ex-partner, accusing him of cheating on her with his ex Pip Edwards.
Michael then turned on Karl and scolded the Today host, “Karlos, I can tell you now c**t, don’t look away.”
The incident was filmed by a bystander and sold to The Daily Telegraph for $10,000.
