A Kansas school teacher has been fired for posting TikTok videos about farting with students and telling false facts in class.
Stephen Taylor was let go from Olathe’s Mill Creek Campus Alternative School last month after videos of him making class jokes from inside one of the school’s classrooms went viral, racking up millions of views.
Taylor claims the district asked him to remove four of his “fart” videos under the district’s social media policy, which requires “the same level of personal responsibility, discretion and professionalism expected in any other form of communication.”
In one video, he is heard talking about ‘crop dusting’ in his classroom and says he tells students incorrect facts whenever they annoy him.
He says: ‘Teacher, if a student annoys you, remember that you can lie. There’s nothing that says you have to tell them the truth all the time. I give stories.

The Urban Dictionary defines ‘crop dusting’ as ‘the act of breaking wind as you pass by a group of people or across a room, thereby leaving a trail of gas behind you’.
The only remaining video of Taylor shows him telling other teachers about ‘crop dust’ in a classroom and telling students incorrect facts whenever they upset him.
“I tell my students the wrong things all the time when they annoy me.
I tell them that Abraham Lincoln invented the automobile. That is why it is named after him. I tell them Jake Paul and Logan Paul had a great grandfather named Paul Revere because they don’t even know how names work.
‘I dust them all the time. I save big lactose intolerant dairy farts. And I drop the bombs silently because I’m an adult and I know my body. And then I let it boil.
‘Then I leave and go, ‘oh my god’, it smells and then they have to sit with it.’

In an ironic turn of events, Taylor also joked in the same video that the school can’t fire him because ‘they need me so much.’
Since then, the teacher has said in multiple videos that the only reason he’s on TikTok and making ‘jokes’ is because the school only paid him $45,000 a year.
He also posted another video claiming the school sent him a cease and desist letter to remove the videos and told him to stop making content or resign.
Since he started posting about ‘fartgate’ on his account and was fired, he has allegedly been offered 13 jobs from other schools and is currently on a comedy tour titled ‘The Teacher Shortage tour’
Taylor tells his viewers that the school fired him because he did not maintain ‘the same level of personal responsibility, discretion and professionalism expected in any other form of communication’ on his channel.

‘They don’t understand. The social media policies are designed for Myspace. They are years behind where we are currently in the world, which is that TikTok is alive and well and everyone is on it,” he said.
He told the Olathe School Board before they voted to fire him at a board meeting: ‘You’re going to be voting at the end of this to fire a teacher who has outstanding evaluations, excellent relationships with students and cares deeply about their success. I’m that teacher, and it’s all because of TikTok.’

Users have come to Taylor’s support since he started sharing his story with many wanting him to continue his pranks and share updates on the story with them.
But when Fox 4 went to a park near the school to get feedback on his ‘lie to my students’ video, one person said: ‘Bragging about lying to your students – what’s that?’
It is not yet known what grade Taylor taught at the school. The school has yet to respond to DailyMail.com for comment.
