Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Justyn Ross has been charged with domestic damage and criminal damage under $1,000, according to court documents in Johnson County, Kansas.
Ross, 23, was arrested Monday in Shawnee, Kansas, and appeared in court Tuesday afternoon.
He pleaded not guilty to both misdemeanor charges during his arraignment hearing and his bond was set at $2,500 under various circumstances, including no contact with the accuser or any witnesses.
The alleged victim reportedly told a 911 operator that Ross “dragged her through the house and tore the house apart,” the station reported. TMZ.
The woman reportedly called a neighbor’s phone, claiming the widespread cell phone had broken down.

She also claimed that the footballer had a firearm in the home, but that he did not have it with him at the time.
The domestic battery charge he faces is defined as “knowingly causing physical contact with a person with whom the perpetrator has or has had a relationship, or with a family member or household member, when done in a rude, offensive or evil way happens.’
According to Shawnee police, the items in the property damage charge include a laptop, computer, an iPhone, a gold bracelet and a car key.
It was initially reported that Ross was arrested Monday in Shawnee, Kansas, on suspicion of criminal damage over $25,000, a misdemeanor, but it has since been changed to domestic battery with no prior sentence and criminal damage under $1,000.
According to ESPN, the Chiefs are aware of the arrest. DailyMail.com has contacted the organization for comment but has not yet received a response.
The wideout joined the reigning Super Bowl champions as an undrafted free agent from Clemson last season, but did not play in 2022 due to injuries.

However, he hasn’t played in all seven of the Chiefs’ games this season, but has recorded three catches for 34 yards in three of them.
His arrest came less than 24 hours after the Chiefs defeated the Los Angeles Chargers 31-17 to maintain their five-game winning streak.
Ross did not play in the victory at Arrowhead Stadium, which was played in front of tight end Travis Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, of Kansas City.
Ross was last part of Patrick Mahomes’ wide receiver corps during the Chiefs’ 27-20 win at the Minnesota Vikings in Week 5 on Oct. 8.
