Justin Bieber is devastated by his wife Hailey’s “fragile” mental health, following months of backlash and “death threats” from fans of his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.
After coming under intense scrutiny for allegedly throwing shade at the Wolves singer, 30, on Instagram, the 26-year-old model recently opened up about going through a ‘difficult time’ with all the negativity online.
In the wake of his wife’s transparency about her mental health issues, a source said Us weekly on Friday that “It breaks Justin’s heart to see Hailey struggle emotionally as she has been for the past few months.”
“He loves his wife more than anything and knows she has a heart of gold,” the insider continued.
On Wednesday, the Rhode Beauty founder, 26, shared an emotional post on Instagram in which she admitted that 2023 has been the hardest of her adult life so far.
Supportive husband: Justin Bieber is heartbroken over his wife Hailey’s ‘fragile’ mental health, following months of backlash and ‘death threats’ from fans of his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez
“I like to joke about how I feel because sometimes it’s easier than admitting I’m struggling,” Hailey began.
“But honestly, since the beginning of 2023, I’ve had some of the saddest, most difficult moments I’ve ever had in my adult life and my mind and emotions have been fragile to say the least,” she continued.
In January, Hailey received a lot of backlash when she and Kendall Jenner posted a since-deleted video on TikTok of lyrics being synced.“And I’m not saying she deserved it, but I’m saying God’s timing is always right.”
Fans of Justin’s ex speculated that Hailey and Kendall were throwing shade at the Only Murders in the Building star.
The Lose You To Love Me singer had to urge her fans to push back on the Hailey hatred as they even made death threats.
Hailey’s message continued: ” And I know so many other people feel the same way I do, so know you’re not alone.
That being said, let’s continue to be there for each other. Let’s be there for loved ones and friends and family and strangers.
‘Let’s just be there for people.. let’s keep sticking up for each other, even when it’s hard. Together we are better,” she concluded.

After Hailey deleted the TikTok video, she posted an Instagram post saying, “I never comment on stuff like this, but we were just having a girls night and doing a random TikTok sound for fun.”
But it didn’t stop there. A clip of Hailey pretending to gag while talking about Selena’s best friend Taylor Swift surfaced and got a quick reaction from the Wizards of Waverly Place alum.

“Sorry, my best friend is and will always be one of the best in the game,” Selena responded to Hailey’s video in February.
A month later, the Calm Down singer tried to end the feud rumors.
“Hailey Bieber contacted me and let me know she has been receiving death threats and such hateful negativity,” Selena wrote on her Instagram story. “This is not what I stand for. No one should experience hatred or bullying. I have always advocated kindness and really want this all to end.”
Shortly after posting, Hailey publicly thanked Selena for “speaking out,” sharing that they’d discussed how to “move past this ongoing story once and for all.”
