Julianne Moore and Sydney Sweeney set to star in new AppleTV+ movie Echo Valley

Julianne Moore and Sydney Sweeney head to southeastern Pennsylvania for the latest offering from Mare of Easttown creator Brad Ingelsby: the new AppleTV+ movie Echo Valley.

Moore, Oscar winner. 62. She will play Kate Garrett, a woman recovering from a personal tragedy who boards and trains horses on an isolated farm in Echo Valley.

Emmy nominee Sweeney, 25, who just launched a bikini line, plays Kate’s rebellious daughter Claire, who shows up unexpectedly one night scared and covered in someone else’s blood.

Variety reported that the thriller will be made for Apple Studios and will stream on AppleTV+.

BAFTA Award winner Michael Pearce will direct from Inglesby’s script.

Sweeney’s career is red hot right now with his starring roles in Euphoria, White Lotus and The Handmaid’s Tale.

This week she revealed a series of photos of busty bikini clad babes to announce her collaboration with Frankies Bikinis.

Now, Sydney, who has become one of America’s hottest pinups, has lent her talents to a new Frankies Bikinis collection influenced by summer in Italy.

Meanwhile, Ingelsby just wrapped up the success of HBO’s Mare of Easttown and AppleTV+’s Our Friend, starring Casey Affleck, Dakota Johnson and Jason Segal.

Four million viewers watched the season finale over the Memorial Day holiday, including three million on Sunday night. The show earned 16 Emmy nominations (it won four, including Outstanding Lead Actress for series star Kate Winslet).

The viewing numbers are for both HBO and HBO Max, but the episode was also the most-watched episode of an original series on the HBO Max streaming platform, according to Deadline.

Meanwhile, Moore is currently appearing in the AppleTV+ neo-noir thriller Sharper.

While promoting Sharper, Moore reflected on her decades-long career and how she believes luck played a role in her success.

I look back and I’m like, ‘I can’t believe I’ve been doing this for so long. I’ve had good fortune’, admitted Moore PEOPLE.

‘I still enjoy it. That’s the other thing that’s really cool,” Moore said of his longevity.

In total, the actress has starred in nearly 80 films since 1990, and has spent the last half of her career as the mother of two children: Caleb, 25, and daughter Live, 20, and wife to husband Bart Freundlich.

The couple will celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary on August 23.

For her latest role, Moore stars as Madeline, the mysterious wife of billionaire Richard Hobbes (John Lithgow), in the psychological thriller Sharper, also starring Sebastian Stan, Justice Smith and Briana Middleton.
