JoJo Siwa admits she has a huge crush on Robert Irwin and slid into his DMs because he was ‘really cute’
JoJo Siwa once confessed that she tried to start a romance with Australian Robert Irwin.
The American singer, 20, who is part of the LGBTQ+ community, revealed in a 2020 interview with B105’s Stav, Abby & Mattshe slipped into the conservationist’s DMs.
She said at the time that she “really loved” the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! host, now 20, but quickly lost interest when she took too long to reply.
Radio host Abby Coleman told listeners Wednesday morning that she thought back to the 2020 interview she had with JoJo, then played a clip of it.
“She messaged Robert Irwin because she had a bit of a crush,” the 42-year-old Brisbane media star told listeners.

In the resurfaced audio, JoJo said of Robert, “There was a moment where I thought, ‘Wow, he’s really cute!’ I really liked it!’
Sadly, it seems JoJo’s love went unrequited as she revealed, ‘Then he finally responded to a DM and I was like, “Okay, I’m over it now.”‘
Robert recently split from his girlfriend of two years, Rorie Buckey, in February. The couple made the shocking announcement in a joint statement on Instagram.

“We wanted to share that we have decided to go our separate ways, but greatly appreciate the time we have spent together and wish each other all the best for the future,” the statement said.
Robert and Rorie, 19, are said to have been dating since November 2022 but became Instagram official in August 2023.
Before that, the couple made their red carpet debut at the premiere of Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One in Sydney.

The duo were last seen together looking smitten as they left Melbourne after their performance at the Australian Open.
Meanwhile, JoJo previously dated TikToker Avery Cyrus and Kylie Prew, whom she first met on a cruise in 2020.
The Dance Mums star revealed last year that she realized she was ‘gay at Disney World’ during a two-week holiday there with Kylie and her brother Jayden.
While they had a blast riding fun rollercoasters and spending quality time together, the Boomerang hitmaker said she “realized” she had romantic feelings for Kylie.
