The set for the Pat McAfee show was filled with awkward silence and reactions after JJ Watt made a Jefferey Epstein joke on the program.
On Wednesday, the retired defensive end appeared on the show to share a piece of breaking news. When asked, Watt said he was not on the Epstein list amid the circulation surrounding the topic.
âMy breaking news was actually that I know absolutely nothing about the Epstein list,â Watt said with a straight face. “But I don't want to get into trouble.”
McAfee rubbed his face as half the room remained silent at Watt's comments. Cast members chuckle uncomfortably as Watt laughs at his own joke.

“I don't know anything, I don't want any fights, I don't need anyone calling me, I don't need any lawsuits, I don't know anything,” Watt added.
The incident occurred just moments after McAfee apologized on behalf of Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers for making his own comments about the Epstein list.
Amid widespread social media controversy about a judge releasing Epstein's list of clients and co-conspirators, Rodgers suggested that late night show host Jimmy Kimmel's name could appear in the documents.
The statement was made on McAfee's show and sparked a flurry of misinformed claims on social media.
Kimmel took to X, formerly Twitter, and shared how Rodgers' “reckless words put my family in danger.”

Epstein was a millionaire who used to interact with celebrities, politicians and other wealthy figures.
He was arrested in 2005 after allegations that he paid a 14-year-old girl for sex. In 2008, Epstein pleaded guilty and served thirteen months in a work-release program in prison.
While many well-known public figures fled after the initial arrest, Epstein continued to mingle with the rich and famous for a decade.
Epstein was charged with sex trafficking in 2019 and committed suicide in prison while awaiting trial.
