Jimmy Barnes has given his fans a health update following a major hip operation he underwent last month to relieve years of chronic pain.
The Working Class Man hitmaker, 66, posted a photo on Facebook Wednesday night of himself riding an exercise bike, telling followers he had reached a recovery milestone.
‘You can ride a bike for 10 minutes starting today. Small profits. I have to be patient, that’s hard for me,’ she captioned the photo.

The Scottish-born singer also posted a snapshot of himself grinning from ear to ear as he walked along a nature trail with the aid of a cane.
He told his fans: ‘Thank you for cheering me on everyone. Comply with the recovery program to the letter. I have turned a big corner.
Many of his 744,000 followers were quick to cheer Jimmy’s progress and offer their best wishes.

Last month, Jimmy updated fans from the hospital following his urgent hip surgery.
Lying in his hospital bed with his wife Jane, 66, and daughter Elly-May, 33, Jimmy wrote: “When you’re in the hospital, visits can be the best medicine, especially my girls.”

‘Today I walked without crutches and the physio took me to the hydrotherapy pool. As many of you have advised, I am going to do exactly what you say,” she added.
Jimmy canceled his summer tour in December to undergo urgent back and hip surgery to relieve chronic pain.
He has been active on social media since his operation, and earlier this week Jimmy told fans he was delighted that he was now fit enough to run up and down the stairs.
