First lady Jill Biden returned to her hometown of Philadelphia on Sunday to watch her beloved Eagles play in the NFC Championship Game against the San Francisco 49ers.
She and President Joe Biden arrived in Delaware from Camp David around lunchtime, and the first lady sported an Eagles-branded top.
The White House then announced that Dr. Biden would be separating from her husband to attend the Eagles game, marking her second visit to Lincoln Financial Field as first lady.
She was seen in a private party suite sitting next to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. She later posted a photo from the game alongside her grandson Hunter, the son of the late Beau Biden.
The Eagles won 31-7, advancing to the Super Bowl.
Dr. Biden was born in New Jersey but grew up in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, a city north of Philadelphia.

Sunday’s Eagles game marks the second game Dr. Biden has attended as first lady. She watched the Eagles beat the Dallas Cowboys in October.

The Eagles defeated the Texas team 26-17.
He stood on the field with cancer survivors during a performance of the Eagles’ fight song, Fly Eagles Fly, as part of the Biden administration’s Cancer Moonshot initiative.
That moment made headlines because a doctored clip soon began circulating the internet, appearing to show the crowd booing the first lady.
It was later discovered that that video had been doctored.
Philadelphia sports fans have a reputation for being hostile, thanks to a 1968 incident in which Eagles fans were so angry about the team’s poor season that they booed santa claus.
Biden returned to Philadelphia in November to participate in Game Four of the World Series, taking part in a Stand Up To Cancer salute, paying tribute to Beau Biden and Corey Phelan, the late Phillies minor league pitcher.
The die-hard Phillies fan made her presence known at the game during a brief moment of silence at Citizens Bank Park as audience members held up tribute cards.
