Jessie J is the latest celebrity to fall victim to a wave of burglaries targeting wealthy residents in the Los Angeles area, with a number of famous people affected.
More than $20,000 worth of jewelry was stolen from the English singer and songwriter’s home following a burglary at her home in Southern California.
Police told TMZ on Thursday that the 36-year-old music artist notified authorities earlier this week when she arrived at her Los Angeles mansion and saw that it had been robbed.
A rear window of the Bang Bang artist’s home was broken by robbers to gain access to the mansion, where they took the expensive jewelry.
Police said no one has been taken into custody in connection with the crime involving the Flashlight singer’s mansion, but investigations into the case continue.

The Price Tag singer – who performed at Manchester Pride in August – is the latest celebrity to fall victim to burglary robberies targeting wealthy residents.
In August law enforcement officers revealed TMZ that Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson’s clifftop home was broken into over the summer, when thieves smashed through the glass to enter a guest house on their property.
The actors were out of their hometown when the security alarm was triggered by the broken glass, but this did not stop the criminals from entering the $26 million Pacific Palisades residence.
News of the break-in at Hanks’ home came nearly a year after the couple’s son, Chet, 34, encountered an intruder in his own home. It was reported at the time that the suspect attacked the arresting officers at the scene, but Chet was unharmed.
Well-known names such as Bhad Bhabie, Sarah Hyland and Marlon Wayans have also been targeted in a string of recent burglaries in the area, with police concerned that criminal operations are becoming more brazen.
In July, Bhad Bhabie’s home was hit by burglars after thieves smashed in her back door before stealing items such as handbags and jewelry. Law enforcement officers entered the rapper’s home after the alarm went off shortly before 10 p.m. on July 12.
Authorities discovered signs of forced entry, but none of those who broke into the property were found at the scene, although a man in a black hoodie was seen fleeing when police arrived.
Bhad Bhabie, 21, whose real name is Danielle Peskowitz Bregoli, is believed to be worth quite a bit of money after she recently revealed that she has made a whopping $57 million on OnlyFans.

Hyland, 33, also had her home broken into by intruders last summer after seeing “two masked men” leaving her property on her security cameras.
The Modern Family star’s Los Angeles home was burglarized on July 27 – also in broad daylight – after the suspects smashed a glass window to gain access to her home.
Hyland was out of town at the time of the incident, but caught her crime while watching live security camera footage from her cell phone after receiving an alert. TMZ revealed that police were called to the property and conducted an investigation to ensure none of the criminals were still lurking in the area.
Actor and comedian Marlon Wayans, 52, also had his Los Angeles home broken into on June 29 and posted a warning for would-be thieves shortly after.
In an Instagram post he said: ‘Don’t waste your time. They didn’t really get much because I don’t own any s***. I have nothing valuable in my house except MY HOUSE. Sorry, I live a simple life’.
TMZ previously reported that the robbery happened around 2:30 a.m. while his brother Keenen Ivory Wayans was sleeping. An employee discovered in the morning that the house had been ransacked and that a safe had been taken.
