Jessica Zrinski: Twist in search for missing woman who accepted a lift from a stranger in Greenfield Tavern carpark

Homicide detectives working on the 2022 disappearance of Jessica Zrinski have launched a three-day search in NSW’s famous Jenolan Caves area as part of ongoing investigations.

Ms Zrinski, then 30, went missing after getting into a blue Holden Commodore at a pub in Greenfield Park in Sydney’s south-west on Monday, November 28, 2022.

The car is believed to have traveled west on the M4 motorway and Great Western Highway towards the Blue Mountains.

Police were alerted on Friday, December 3, 2022 when family members were unable to locate or contact her.

Strike Force Keder investigators began a search of bushland in the Jenolan State Forest, about 13km north of Jenolan Caves, on Friday.

The search is expected to last three days, with assistance from the Dog Squad, Rescue & Bomb Disposal Unit and other volunteers.

The new search follows a three-day bushland search in the Hampton State Forest, about 115km west of Sydney in the NSW Central Tablelands in May 2023.

The driver of the Commodore, who has never been publicly identified, was unable to assist the investigation after detectives seized the car and conducted a forensic examination.

Police made several appeals during the time Ms Zrinski was missing and announced a $500,000 reward for information in November 2023.

Ms Zrinski was last seen in the car park of the Greenfield Tavern on Mimosa Road before getting into the blue Holden Commodore about ten minutes later.

Police have released CCTV footage of the vehicle driving through Horsley Park at around 10.15pm that evening and through Mount Victoria just before 9am the following morning.

Police believe Ms. Zrinski was alive in the Commodore mid-morning on Tuesday, November 29, before disappearing without a trace.
