Jesinta Franklin is considering a move to the country.

The AFL WAG has been suffering from itchy feet for some time and is leaving Sydney for the Gold Coast after footballer husband Buddy Franklin retired from the AFL in 2023.

Just a year later, the model is considering moving again, this time to the countryside.

“We are thinking about selling and buying a farm now, so yeah, we’ll see how it goes,” Jesinta told The Morning Show.

As she said: ‘We love it. We absolutely love it’ when it comes to the Gold Coast, the mother of two is keen to get into the bush.

“That might be the next thing we talk about the next time I’m here. Potentially (we could sell the dream house),” she added.

‘We just love the idea of ​​being on the land, growing our own food, having horses, some Highland cows, we’d love that. It could be something interesting.’

Jesinta enjoys being alone with her husband and children, daughter Tullulah, three, and son Rocky, two.

“We get so much quality time together and we always make sure we watch the Swannies and Hawks games,” Jesinta said.

And after settling into their trophy home, Jesinta gave her Instagram followers a tour of their newly built palace, known as ‘Villa Casa’.

The home, which was on the market for just six days before the Franklins bought it, features seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms and stunning views of the city..

Jesinta shared a video of her setting up a floral display in the stone kitchen, which features a curved island bench, all-black cabinetry and a butler’s pantry.

She walked through a bright hallway with floor-to-ceiling arched windows and sheer white curtains, and then into the kitchen and living room.

The couple sold their luxury apartment in Sydney’s eastern suburbs for $5 million to complete their move to the Gold Coast.

The AFL power couple purchased the prestigious property, located in The Carlisle apartment complex, in 2020 for $5 million.

Franklin left Hawthorn to join Sydney in 2014 on a nine-year deal worth $10 million.

According to realestate.com.au, the footy star and Jesinta have been eyeing properties in Sydney and Queensland for some time.

Buddy was last seen at a football match when he, Jesinta and their children Rocky and Tallulah waved to fans as he completed a lap of honor during his emotional farewell at the SCG last August.

His departure from the sport was officially announced by the club who called his career an ‘incredible journey’.
