Jeremy Renner continues to make strides after snow plow accident
Jeremy Renner continues to make big strides on his way to a full recovery from his New Year’s accident that nearly killed him.
On Saturday, some five and a half months into his recovery from more than 30 broken bones, the Hollywood protagonist took to his Instagram page and gave his 20.8 million fans and followers an update on his rehabilitation.
But not before revealing that he was able to enjoy some quality family time with his 10-year-old daughter Ava, whom he co-parents with his ex-wife Sonni Pacheco, while playing an afternoon of golf.
“Glorious day for a daddy-daughter date,” he gushed under the shot of Ava taking a shot on the green just yards from the hole.
His only child can be seen from behind, wearing jeans, a gray T-shirt and white sneakers, just before he tries to sink the ball into the hole.

As it turns out, the Hurt Locker star’s day with his daughter wasn’t all play and work.
In his next post on his Instagram Stories, Renner revealed that he and Ava “did PT exercises together too!!”
He went on to share a few videos of himself working out on various pieces of equipment that are part of his rehabilitation after his scary accident.
One of the machines made it look like he was dancing, which he promptly informed his fans and followers that was not the case.
“No dancing, I promise,” he wrote at the bottom of the clip, adding, “High intensity vibration machine.”
It looks like Ava also helped film the social media clips, which included a look at him doing squats with weights
‘[I’m] just pretending my leg isn’t broken,” he joked in the clip’s caption, showing him crouching down while holding the tiny hand weight.
Compared to his unsteady gait not long after the accident, the Modesto, California native appears to have improved immensely, considering how much more stable he seems with his balance.

Just hours after ringing in the New Year 2023, Renner’s chest was crushed and his upper body collapsed when he was pulled under a seven-ton snowplow near his Lake Tahoe estate.
He had been trying to pull his cousin’s vehicle out of the snow in his driveway when the horrific incident happened.
Renner was heard in agony on a post-accident 911 call, which led to his being airlifted to Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, where he was initially admitted in “critical but stable condition.”
He ended up suffering nearly three dozen broken bones, not to mention the cuts, scrapes, and bruises.
Once he was stable and had some recovery days under his belt, the Avengers star began sharing updates on his condition and rehabilitation via social media, including a Jan. 21 post showing he was receiving physical therapy for his legs.

Finally, in mid-April, Renner improved enough to walk hand-in-hand with Ava at the premiere of his Disney+ miniseries Rennervations, describing how he helps charities by recreating decommissioned vehicles for new uses.
He also made his guest appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! earlier in the week, which began with the actor doing a little dance with his cane as he walked to his seat for the interview.
And just a few weeks ago, Renner paid a visit to the medical staff who he says “saved his life” after being crushed by that 14,000-pound snowplow on New Year’s Day.
The actor would take a few hours to thank people Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, Nevada, near its lavish abode in Lake Tahoe.
