Father Jakubowski is from Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he graduated from Catholic Central High School in 2013, according to MLife.

After high school, he attended further education at Notre Dame and after graduating, he entered the seminary.

In April of this year, he was ordained as a priest of the Holy Cross and now serves in a Catholic parish in Austin, Texas.

Jakubowski looked back on his time on Jeopardy! as “a great experience.”

“Ken Jennings and all the producers and the team were very kind to me when I saw the novelty of having a Catholic priest on the show,” he explained to Fox.

‘I hope it has given a positive impression of my community and the church.

“The show airs at 3:30 in Austin, where I live. We had a viewing party at our parish school with our students and their parents. It’s really fun to share that with our parish.”
