Jennifer Lopez has broken her silence for the first time since Gwyneth Paltrow’s explosive confessions about her husband Ben Affleck’s sexual prowess.
Appearing on The View on Thursday, the hitmaker Jenny From The Block, 53, spoke candidly about her husband and praised how he raised their children together.
Speaking of her husband Ben, 50, she said: ‘He’s a great dad. It brings tears to my eyes. He really is the best dad I’ve ever seen. He’s so involved, he teaches me how to deal with the kids sometimes.’
Her gushing tribute to her husband came just days after Gwyneth, 50, stunned fans by comparing her two A-lister exes Brad Pitt and Ben — revealing that the latter was “technically better in bed, but the former edges things out as the better actor.
She dated Brad from 1994, but they broke off their engagement in 1997 because, at age 24, she felt she was too young to get married. She was in a three-year relationship with Ben, who married Jennifer last year.

“He’s just so up to date, he’s such a brilliant guy anyway, like he’s learned so much, and you can just tell when he had his kids, he read every book and everything you could possibly learn about kids , and he applies It…
“He’s present and that’s all you can ask for, is a gift, loving father who cares about you and who shows up every day, and that’s who he is.”

Earlier in the week, Gwyneth was mentioned on the spot in a podcast interview with Alex Cooper Call her daddy.
Gwyneth gave a series of candid answers answering who was the best in the bedroom saying, “That’s really hard.” Because Brad was the biggest chemistry love of your life at the time. And then Ben was technically excellent.
“I can’t believe my daughter is listening to this.”
When asked who she considered the better actor of the two, she said, “They’re both so talented. And Ben is a great writer and director. But I guess I should probably just say, Brad. Because when you think of all the different roles he’s played.’

Aside from the cheeky comments, Jennifer said it was hard to watch her kids begin to “individualize” themselves from her.
She said, “I’m experiencing this right now, we’re all going through it for the first time with our own kids, and you’re like, ‘Oh, this is what she was talking about’…
“This is when your kids won’t talk to you, and they kind of individualize you, and it’s all necessary, and intellectually I get it. But my heart! My heart!’
Outside of her home life, Jennifer’s film career has continued to flourish – she will star in the upcoming film The Mother, which will be released on Netflix on May 12.
In the action movie, Jennifer plays an assassin determined to do anything to keep her young daughter safe.
The role required a lot of fight scenes and Jennifer took on the challenge with a lot of training.
The world’s best dad! Jennifer called Ben the type of dad everyone would ask for — a “gift, loving dad who cares”
“That was one where you really have to train a lot, where you really have to do the combat training and you have to do the sniper training… It was a lot of fun, but it’s a lot of work,” she said.
While Jennifer, now in her early 50s, wishes she had gotten more roles like this when she was a little younger, she still says it was an “empowering” experience.
And it’s funny, you know, I wish I’d gotten a lot of these kinds of roles that I’m getting now, funnily enough, when I was a little more, you know, spry.
‘My heart!’ Now raising teens, Jennifer opened up about the internal conflict she feels as she watches her kids begin to “isolate” from her
‘A little younger, shall we say. And it’s exciting to be able to do it now, I think it’s really empowering for me and makes me feel strong and good.”
The Jenny From The Block singer described how her dance background helped her pick up the fighting routines.
“It was just regular fight training, but it was choreographed. You have to be efficient, I can’t fight eight hours a day. After an hour I’m like, OK!
“So they had to be really efficient and we choreographed almost like a dance, which is good for me because I’m a dancer, so I can take it one step at a time and I just learn from there.”
