Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck reunited for the second time during their divorce battle, days after their “tense” lunch in Beverly Hills.
According to TMZThe estranged couple were spotted together on Tuesday night as they attended their children’s school year start in Los Angeles.
Lopez has 16-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony, while Affleck has three children — Violet, 18, Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12 — with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, 52.
Lopez, 55, and Affleck, 52, “were totally cool with each other and very cordial” as they walked around campus with their children.
But despite their friendly demeanor, an insider for the outlet claimed that a reconciliation is not on the cards for the A-list couple and that they are still planning to divorce.

Lopez officially filed for divorce from Affleck on the second anniversary of their marriage in August 2022, after months of speculation about the split.
She listed April 26, 2024, as the date of the divorce and the couple reportedly did not have a prenuptial agreement in place when they married in July 2022.
In June, they put their $68 million wedding home on the market.
Ben has since moved into a $20 million bachelor pad in Pacifica Palisades, near his ex Garner’s home, while JLo has been touring luxury properties in LA in recent weeks as she attempts to move on with her life after the Argo star.
This past weekend, the duo surprised their fans by reuniting for the first time since their split.
On Saturday, Affleck and Lopez took their children Max, Emme, Samuel and Fin to the Beverly Hills Hotel for lunch.
At one point, Affleck leaned over to talk to the Maid in Manhattan star, gesturing with his hands as they walked toward the hotel entrance.
The exes were later photographed having a tense conversation in Affleck’s car in the parking lot after the family meal.
At the end of brunch, Bennifer’s ex Jennifer Garner stopped by to pick up her and Affleck’s two children, Fin and Samuel, while Bennifer left together.

Affleck, notably, wore Ben’s engagement ring on her pinky finger, along with a gold ‘Jennifer’ ring on her wedding finger.
Although the photos showed a chilly reunion between the two, Page Six claimed Affleck couldn’t keep his hands off her as they dined at the posh hotel.
It was also alleged that Ben “kissed” Jennifer because he was still “attracted” to her.
A company insider explained that their children were also near the restaurant, “but at a separate table.”
DailyMail.com has reached out to representatives for comment on the PDA’s shocking claims, but has not received a response.
However, PEOPLE insisted the divorce is still ongoing, despite PageSix claiming the exes hugged and kissed.
According to reports, Lopez is trying to “be nice” to her Affleck, for the sake of their children.
A source told PEOPLE, “They all got together for a nice lunch so the kids could chill. [Lopez is] trying to be nice to Ben. They’re still going through the divorce.’
The insider added, “Divorce is never easy, but Jennifer doesn’t want to be selfish about it. The kids always got along well and had fun together. It makes her happy to see the kids happy together. Happy kids are her priority.”

The singer/actress split from Affleck in April after less than two years of marriage. She filed for divorce on August 20.
Lopez was engaged to Affleck in the early 2000s, but the relationship ended shortly before they were set to marry.
They reunited in 2021 before tying the knot in 2022 in two ceremonies — one in Las Vegas and one in Georgia. The divorce filing came exactly two years after the couple’s extravagant second party on August 20, 2022.
The divorce papers list their official date as April 26, 2024. A source previously told PEOPLE that Jennifer took the step of filing for divorce because she knows it’s time to “move on,” but she’s still very “sad” that the marriage is over.
The insider explained: “[She knows] it’s time to move on’ for several reasons… She is very disappointed and sad, but Ben has not given her any sign that he wants to continue their marriage. He has not shown any commitment and interest in making their marriage work. It has come to the point where she just has to fend for herself.
