Jax Taylor reveals Lala Kent’s ex Randall Emmett STILL hasn’t repaid $75K loan

Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright scammed Randall Emmett, Lala Kent’s ex, for taking a $75,000 loan on their When reality hits podcast tuesday.

Vanderpump Rules alums Taylor, 43, and Cartwright, 34, delved into detail about Emmett’s non-payment of a long-term loan on their podcast.

“I’m kind of pissed off and it’s annoying,” Taylor said of the situation with Emmett, who has been publicly accused of failing to pay back loans amid a 2019 split with 50 Cent.

“Jax has been nicer than he should have been because we all know who Randall is — he was Lala’s ex, her baby daddy and he treated her horribly and did all those horrible things while they were dating,” Cartwright said of the film’s producer.

Cartwright said her husband and Randall “became super close while he was dating” Kent, and that even though she hadn’t seen Emmett since his breakup with her boyfriend Kent, Taylor kept in touch with him.

“Jax had this business deal with Randall, so he still had to keep in touch — not like see him or hang out or anything like that — but he had to talk to him because he owed him so much money,” Cartwright explained.

Taylor explained the details leading up to the financially fueled feud, noting that he was initially in business with the producer during the time when Emmett was dating Kent.

“Randall and I had a deal where I would invest in movies with him,” Taylor said. “I invested in three movies where it was actually bridging loans and I was going to get a producer credit.

“I’ll invest in the movie, I’ll wait for the movie to air and then I’ll get my money back – there’s really nothing to lose, it’s pretty simple, he’s doing it with his mom and dad too.”

Taylor said: “We trusted him and I learned my lesson a lot,” adding that prior to the latest loan, Emmett had made good on all previous loans.

Taylor said Emmett called him just before the coronavirus pandemic in early 2020 and asked him if he wanted to invest $100,000 in a high-growth project.

Taylor said the film project had been put on hold due to the coronavirus, but when he contacted Emmett, he was given an “excuse” about where the money was going.

He noted that Emmett was still working on separate films, but Taylor was not included in them, nor did he refund the money.

Taylor said Emmett is now called Randall Ives “because his name is so popular in this town;” and to trick Hollywood cast and crew members who sign up for movies without knowing he is involved. Emmett was photographed in NYC last November

“Where did the $100,000 go?” said Taylor.

Taylor said Emmett is now called Randall Ives “because his name is so popular in this town;” and to trick Hollywood cast and crew members who sign up for movies without knowing he is involved.

“Everyone in Hollywood has written a negative story about Randall,” Taylor said.

Taylor said Emmett repaid him $25,000 of the original loan and still owes him $75,000.

Taylor said he told Emmett he would only speak to him through his lawyer and would be willing to accept $50,000 to end the debt.

Cartwright added, “He has to pay everything he owes you,” to which Taylor said he’d rather have the $50,000 than nothing at all.

Taylor added, “I’m Jax Taylor, a family man, you took money from a family man, I have to support my family and pay my mortgage, you took from me.” I have to feed my family, that’s why I made these investments to earn money to support my family.”

Taylor said he was further furious when he saw Emmett continue to live an expensive lifestyle via Instagram while he has yet to pay back the loan.

“Where the hell is my money?” he said. “You took from a family man, I’m not a studio.”

Cartwright added, “Randall, just pay him back.”
