Megan Rapinoe parted ways with the USWNT on Sunday and kept up her brash style until the end – much to the chagrin of some.

Rapinoe captained the Americans in a 2-0 friendly win over South Africa in Chicago, capping a hugely decorated international career.

And the 38-year-old was spotted heading to the game wearing bright reflective sunglasses and a speaker playing her favorite pregame music.

While Rapinoe was cheered by the home crowd in Chicago, Jason Whitlock found the pregame display overly indulgent.

“We have normalized self-aggrandizement,” he said. ‘This is cool! She carries her own entrance music. It’s clownish behavior.’

Jason Whitlock has previously criticized Rapinoe and the USWNT on air

Whitlock previously criticized Rapinoe and the USWNT during last summer’s World Cup, calling her “the Andrew Tate of LGBTQ feminism.”

“In the history of sports, no team has needed a reward more than our women’s soccer team,” he wrote in a tweet. “Supporting this American nightmare is not unpatriotic. We’ll root for them.’

He added that Rapinoe believes she is a threat to the establishment. She is popular, she is richer than she can imagine, sexually liberated and adored by her followers.

‘She’s a fraud. She hates America because she hates herself. She’s toxic. Her attitude is reflected in the national team. At the age of 38, she is alone on the roster to further polish her brand.

Rapinoe’s clip from Sunday featured her singing the late Nipsey Hussle’s song “Hussle and Motivate,” a song she previously quoted after winning the 2019 World Cup.

She played the same role during the video recorded on Sunday which reads: ‘It’s not really a journey on the honors, I just paid all my dues.’ I just respected the game, now that my name is all over the news.”

Rapinoe – along with her other teammates – has been criticized for not singing the national anthem.
