Jason Kelce’s ESPN Week 2 outfit REVEALED: Eagles legend sports very unusual outfit for second game as analyst

Jason Kelce opted for a more relaxed look compared to his Monday Night Countdown colleagues for Week 2 of the NFL season.

The Eagles legend turned heads on Monday night with his outfit during his homecoming in Philadelphia.

While Scott Van Pelt, Ryan Clark and Marcus Spears all wore suits for the Eagles’ game against the Atlanta Falcons at Lincoln Field, Kelce wore a South Philly tux.

In tribute to his beloved Eagles, the former centre was dressed head to toe in Kelly Green, with a brightly coloured velour tracksuit and trousers bizarrely bearing the Italian emblem.

He later changed into a neat sage-colored jacket and a crisp white shirt, which he wore open-collared during the halftime show in the stadium.

It was Kelce’s second appearance of the night, after he wore a similarly casual Philadelphia-themed outfit to participate in the tailgate festivities.

He was spotted walking through the parking lot of the Linc Hotel for the second Monday Night Countdown assignment of his career, wearing an Eagles T-shirt and shorts.

Not only would Kelce be on hand for ‘Countdown,’ but earlier in the day it was also announced that he would be in the booth.

ESPN NFL analyst Troy Aikman made the announcement, announcing that Kelce would join him and play-by-play man Joe Buck in the booth for the third quarter.

“Oh man this is gonna be fun tonight!!,” Kelce tweeted, before joking, “I’ll try to be as impartial as possible…. Go Birds!!”

The decision to give Kelce more responsibility comes a week after his Monday Night Football debut with the network, during which he used the word “t*ts” in the first few sentences describing his physique.

Last Monday, Kelce was introduced by host Scott Van Pelt during his first television appearance. He explained that Kelce had to buy a shirt at the mall before his television appearance because he had lost his travel bag.

“It fits my stomach well now, I’ve lost a little weight, but my boobs still hurt,” Kelce said.

He received quite a bit of criticism for this on social media, with some people surprised by his crude remark.

“Yeah, he needs to get it together,” one fan said on X, apparently in response to Kelce’s start.

Another said: ‘That’s not a big deal. He should be more careful next time.’

Meanwhile, his brother Travis was enjoying his debut. He and his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, were said to be laughing when they saw him on the radio.

Most of the audience also laughed, and Kelce’s television debut was considered a success.

It was also seen as a much better debut than Tom Brady’s, but it’s difficult to really compare the two as their roles are very different.
