Jason Kelce admits he was ‘incredibly stupid’ to lose his only Super Bowl ring in a pool of chili during New Heights live show with brother Travis last week: ‘Hopefully it is found some day’
The reality of losing his only Super Bowl ring appears to be dawning on Jason Kelce after he revealed this week that he lost it in a tank of chili during a live show in New Heights.
Kelce’s older brother seemed to laugh about it when he told Travis about it on this week’s edition of their wildly popular podcast, but now that he was responding to someone on Twitter, Kelce sounded subdued.

Kelce saw it and replied, “Understandable point of view. I grew up playing hockey, and in my opinion the Stanley Cup is the greatest trophy in all of sports.
“One of the things that makes it great is the lore surrounding it, and the places and things where it’s done.

Kelce has now said on Twitter that he was ‘incredibly stupid’ for not paying more attention
“I enjoyed doing fun and different things with my ring because I loved living with it and doing things that no one else has done with a Super Bowl ring.
“For me, it made it mine, and even more unique. I certainly wasn’t trying to lose it, incredibly stupid that it’s gone. fully expected to take it out of the chili, wash it off and wear it again. Hopefully it will be found one day.’
He got no sympathy from Travis when he told him what happened in New Heights this week.
“What did you expect to happen?” he said. “You’re so damn imbecile. Goddammit Jason.”
Kelce played in two Super Bowls in his iconic 13-year career with the Eagles and helped Philadelphia win its third championship with a win over the New England Patriots in 2018.
Five years later, he returned to the NFL’s biggest stage, only to suffer a loss to brother Travis and the Chiefs.
At the end of his thirteenth season in Philadelphia, Kelce recently announced his retirement from football during an emotional press conference.
