Jamie Redknapp and his fellow pundits continued to giggle after Manchester United fans foully taunted him during Thursday’s live coverage.

During half-time analysis of Man United’s 4-1 win over Chelsea, home fans were heard shouting at the former Liverpool player – who was one of four people on the pitch for Sky Sports.

Man United fans launched into a melodic rendition of “Jamie Redknapp you’re aw****r, you’re aw****r,” which the 49-year-old giggled on live TV along with fellow experts Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Mary Earps, and host Kelly Cates .

While Sky Sports’ stalwart Cates and the Manchester United and Lionesses goalkeeper Earps seemed to keep their composure for the live broadcast, Hasselbaink almost completely lost it, as Redknapp struggled to contain his laughter, which came with Man United 2 -0 on at the break.

The final score gave Manchester United enough points to qualify for the Champions League for next season, at the expense of Liverpool.

When Redknapp described Casemiro’s no-look pass as being in the style of outgoing Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino, Cates commented that the comparison would not appeal to Manchester United fans.

To this Redknapp replied, “I don’t care, I’ve taken enough stick tonight.”

Following yesterday’s win, Redknapp said Erik ten Hag had “answered a lot of questions” during his first season as Manchester United leader.

He also said Harry Kane should leave Tottenham – who called the North London side a ‘mess’ – in favor of Manchester United.
