Jake Quickenden almost moved fans to tears when he revealed that bringing his newborn Kit home from hospital ‘felt different than the first time’ in a very emotional post.
The X Factor star, 36, welcomed his second son with wife Sophie Church on Wednesday and took to Instagram on Friday to share the happy news.
The couple, who will marry in 2022, are already parents to three-year-old son Leo, while they are also raising Sophie’s son Freddie from a previous relationship.
Later in the day, the I’m A Celebrity icon gave his followers an update, briefly detailing the family’s return to their nest in the lengthy caption.
The doting dad added that they were trying “a lot” with Leo this time because he was feeling “a bit overwhelmed” and they “wouldn’t want him to be left out” as he welcomes his little brother or sister.
The TV star accompanied the touching message with a slew of heartbreaking photos of the tiny newborn, as well as two photos of himself shirtless as he cradled little Kit.

He also shared a sweet mother-son moment of Sophie breastfeeding the toddler in hospital, as he thanked people for the “kind messages” in the caption.
Jake, who admitted the family was ‘enjoying the baby bubble’, wrote his latest post: ‘Baby boy is safe and comfortable at home. We were home four hours later the same day.
‘Sof surprises me. Sophie is doing well, she won’t put Kit to sleep, but I think she enjoys her cuddles. I think it’s a bit different than the first time because I don’t want Leo to think we’re leaving him out and he’s a bit overwhelmed so we do a lot together!!
‘Today we went swimming and blacksmithing and he bought Kit a toy, then we had some chicken nuggets and went home and watched Wicked for the third time in two days.
‘Everyone very tired but enjoying the baby bubble. Thank you for all the sweet messages and congratulations, always appreciated. ‘

The sweet video shows baby Kit bundled up in a white towel and blue knitted hat as mum Sophie, 31, cradles him in her arms.
She is then seen breastfeeding her newborn while enjoying a well-deserved piece of toast.
The excited parents are then seen doting on their little one as they clung to his hands before Jake went to dress Kit.
The video later shows TV personality Jake shirtless as he cradled his son in his arms, with Jake no doubt getting ready or spending some skin-to-skin time with his son.
The special post was received with an abundance of congratulatory messages from his fans and showbiz friends.
Sophie and Jake previously revealed they were pregnant after a ‘long time of trying’ and took to Instagram with an emotional montage of the family hearing the happy news.
Overcome with emotion, he wiped tears from his eyes when told during the pregnancy that Sophie was having their shocked sons undergo an ultrasound scan.
The ex-campmate of I’m A Caleb wrote the message: ‘WE HAVE NEWS…. soon five. After much trying, we can finally let you know that we are bringing another bundle of joy into the world.”
