Jackson Mahomes’ sexual battery accusations were fake, insists mom Randi, who says brother of Chiefs QB Patrick is ‘our rock’ and reveals he has a 9-to-5 job at a credit union – NOT as an influencer

Randi Mahomes insisted the sex allegations against son Jackson were nothing more than false accusations.

In January, prosecutors in Kansas dismissed three felony charges related to Jackson, the younger brother of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. The 23-year-old was accused of forcibly grabbing a woman by the neck and kissing her at an Overland Park restaurant on Feb. 25, 2023.

On Wednesday Randi appeared on the ‘Received from my motherpodcast and opened up to Jennifer Vickery Smith about the situation. Randi not only came to her son’s defense, but also spoke about Jackson’s work ethic and role in their family.

“We’ve come away from this last year with some phony, where there were a number of false allegations against him that eventually came out, which was a lot more than my mother’s death. All at the same time,” Randi said, referring to her mother’s death last April.

“We were blessed that it was all dropped because the situation was for no reason.”

When asked how they kept Jackson upbeat amid the accusations, Randi said they relied heavily on prayers. She also pointed out how the situation has opened the family’s eyes to who their real friends are.

“Lots of prayers,” Randi said. ‘A lot of Bible study with my Bible study group. Just prayers from all sides, because you find out who your friends are, you really find out who people are when you go through those trials.

“And even for my kids, all of them, it’s brought us all closer together.”

“As a mother, watching a TV station that loves one child and then absolutely hates the other, not only affects me, but both my children and my daughter. We’ve gotten to the point where we’re turning off the TV.”

The serious charges of sexual assault were dropped after the accuser, who also owned the restaurant, refused to testify in the case. The owner also reported continued death threats, harassment and vandalism at her establishment following the allegations, forcing her to close the store in August.

However, on Thursday, Jackson pleaded guilty to one misdemeanor count. At the restaurant, the complaint alleges, Mahomes pushed a 19-year-old waiter who tried to enter the room while he was with the woman.

Jackson was sentenced to six months probation. Following his sentence, he was taken into custody by the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office to determine his eligibility for work release.

While many mistake Jackson as a social media influencer due to his large following on TikTok, Randi confirmed that he has a 9-to-5 position at a credit union. Plus, she raved about Jackson being the rock of the family.

“He has a grade point average of 9 to 5. February 1st was a year,” Randi said. “I’d like to brag that he’s my only graduate. He has one on Patrick. For example, watch out. I always said Patrick was my athlete and Jackson could be too, he will reach the top in whatever he does.

“I’d rather have what happened to my middle child happen to me, instead of the one who would kick the shoes off your feet… the one who is my rock.

“Patrick, he’s a father and husband and a football player, and people look up to him in every way. If you looked at my family, Jackson is our rock, even before Patrick. He is the one God placed in our lives to keep us together.”
