Democratic presidential nominee Robert F. Kennedy Jr. testifies before the House Weaponization Committee on government censorship, despite calls from Democrats to remove him from the panel.
Last week, RFK Jr. claimed that COVID was “ethnically targeted” and that it was “designed not to affect Jewish or Chinese people.”
“We don’t know if it was on purpose or not, but there are documents that show the racial or ethnic difference and the impact,” the Democratic nominee reportedly said, according to the New York Post.
His comments sparked outrage among Democrats, who urged House Republicans to remove him as a witness in the hearing. However, the Federal Government’s Selected Subcommittee on Armaments Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, said RFK Jr. would still testify.
RFK Jr. rebelled against the Democrats’ attacks on his character in his opening statement, saying, “In all my life I have never uttered a sentence that was racist or anti-Semitic.”
“We have to stop destroying each other,” Kennedy said.
Democrats on the committee unsuccessfully tried to remove him because he violated house rules prohibiting “defamatory” testimony.

Jim Jordan, chairman of the Weaponization Committee, R-Ohio, said he would still testify despite his COVID claims
The hearing began on a stinging note with Democratic Representative Stacey Plaskett berating Chairman Jordan for cheating RFK Jr. ten minutes to make his opening remarks, longer than the standard five minutes.
Jordan replied, “If you want to shut him up and censor him even more, you can.”
“Oh, that’s not my job, that’s your job. Why don’t you threaten the witness so they won’t want to be a witness,’ Plaskett fired back.
Jordan had confirmed earlier this week that RFK Jr.
‘s testimony. would go according to plan.
“Yes, I totally disagree with what he said, but he’s a Democrat,” Jordan told Politico on Monday.
“I don’t agree with other things he said either. But we have him because of censorship,” Jordan continued, confirming that the presidential candidate would still testify on Thursday.
Also present at the hearing are Louisiana Department of Justice Special Assistant Attorney General D. John Sauer and Breitbart News journalist Emma-Jo Morris.
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy told reporters this week that he “disagrees” with RFK Jr.’s statements, but “the hearing we have this week is about censorship.”
“I don’t think censoring anyone is really the solution here.”
Democrats expressed outrage at the hearing and continued to attack Kennedy.
Rep. Gerry Connolly, D-Va., told Politico that Kennedy’s testimony shows that Republicans are fine with “crazy for witnesses.”
“You shine a red-hot spotlight on someone like that and expose the Republicans for their hypocrisy,” added Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla.
“He spews baseless, unfactual, unscientific conspiracy theories,” she continued.
A spokesperson for the Anti Defamation League expressed outrage at RFK Jr.’s statement.
“The claim that COVID-19 was a biological weapon created by Chinese or Jews to attack white and black people is deeply offensive and fuels the Chinese-phobic and anti-Semitic conspiracy theories about COVID-19 that we’ve seen evolve over the past three years,” an ADL spokesperson told DailyMail.com.
“We do know that the Chinese are spending hundreds of millions of dollars developing ethnic bioweapons, and we are developing ethnic bioweapons. They’re collecting Russian DNA. They’re collecting Chinese DNA so we can target people by race,” he continued.
Kennedy responded to the accusations that he is an anti-Semite by accusing the New York Post of “being mistaken.”

Last week, RFK Jr. claimed that COVID was ‘ethnic focused’
“I never suggested that the COVID-19 virus was intended to spare Jews,” he tweeted.
There is no reliable evidence to suggest that anything RFK Jr said was correct. While there are new reports suggesting COVID-19 escaped from a lab in Wuhan, nothing indicates it was an ethnic target.
Kennedy has promised Dr. Anthony Fauci for his performance during the COVID-19 pandemic he must win White House in 2024.
“Of course if there were any crimes he committed, I would tell the Attorney General to prosecute him, not wait,” Kennedy promised during an interview on Fox news.
