It is over! Sunset’s sale Jason Oppenheim, 46, and Marie-Lou Nurk, 25, SPLIT due to ‘distance’ after just ten months together: ‘We remain good friends’
Selling Sunset stars Jason Oppenheim and Marie-Lou Nurk have split after ten months together.
The 46-year-old president of The Oppenheim Group — whose ex Chrisshell Stause recently married — took to his Instagram story on Wednesday to announce his split from the 25-year-old model.
He shared a photo of the now-former couple cuddled up on a boat as they stared off into the distance together, along with a joint statement.
The statement read: “While we still love and care deeply about each other, the distance between us has proved too much of a challenge to overcome.
“We remain good friends and continue to talk often and support each other and we want the very best for each other. We thank everyone for their support during our relationship.’

‘We thank everyone for their support’: The 46-year-old president of The Oppenheim Group – whose ex Chrisshell Stause recently married – took to his Instagram story on Wednesday to announce his breakup with the 25-year-old model
Since distance is the main reasoning behind the split, it should be noted that Marie-Lou lives mainly in Paris where she works as a model, while Jason lives in Los Angeles.
Jason and Marie-Lou were first linked in July 2022 — six months after Jason parted ways with his Selling Sunset co-star Chrisshell Stause, 41.
Chrisshell has since moved on from Australian musician G Flip and she is very supportive of Oppenheim’s new relationship.
“Chrishell and I are in a really good place,” Jason said People. “We’re both in love and happy for each other.”
Jason and Marie-Lou reportedly met in Greece where they both enjoyed Mediterranean vacations.
They were spotted on the PDA during their trip abroad and later shared a photo of them posing together.
It wasn’t long before the couple made their red carpet debut and went Instagram official.
“I’m more open to being a husband than being a father right now,” Oppenheim said People. “I like the idea of there being no pressure, or the thought of having a kid with Lou. So that just makes it easy for us.’
The statement read: ‘While we still love and care deeply about each other, the distance between us has proved too challenging to bridge’; they were pictured in West Hollywood in November
Sad: Since they cite distance as the main reason behind the split, it should be noted that Marie-Lou lives mainly in Paris where she works as a model, while Jason lives in Los Angeles; they are due to be seen in LA in January
Marie-Lou spoke about the sentiment about not wanting to have children at the moment: ‘I think things will go well for the next ten years. And that’s a long time, so I’m not even thinking about it yet.’
The couple’s globetrotting relationship has been on full display in recent months as they recently enjoyed a love break Down Under.
