Isle of Wight festival 2023 line up: Set times, headliners and tickets
The hugely popular Isle of Wight festival is fast approaching, with Britpop band Pulp topping the bill.
The festival takes place at Seaclose Park, located in the Newport area of the Isle of Wight, which is home to a host of major artists to kick off this summer’s festival season.
What are the dates of the Isle of Wight Festival this year? What’s the full lineup? Can you still get tickets? How do you get to the festival site itself?

When is the 2023 Isle of Wight Festival?
The Isle of Wight Festival, the traditional curtain rod of the UK festival season, dates back to 1968 when it gained a reputation as the European version of Woodstock.
The first festival, held at Hells Field near Godshill, was attended by about 10,000 revelers.
Although there was no Isle of Wight Festival for over 30 years after 1970, it was relaunched in 2002 by music promoter John Giddings.
In 2023, the Isle of Wight Festival will take place between Thursday 15th June and Sunday 18th June – with an estimated 50,000 festival goers.
Isle of Wight festival 2023 lineup?
A host of well-known artists will join Pulp at the 2023 edition of the Isle of Wight Festival.
Groove Armada will be the first artist to headline the main stage on the Thursday of the event, with LF System, Oh My God It’s The Church and Lottery Winners supporting on opening day.
Artists appearing on the main stage on Friday, June 15 include The Clause, Courteeners, OneRepublic, Sugababes and Sophie Ellis-Bextor ahead of Pulp’s highly anticipated headline slot.
Saturday’s main stage action will feature George Ezra, The Chemical Brothers, N-Dubz, Anne-Marie, Sam Ryder, Gabrielle and Scouting For Girls.
Sunday 18 June, the last day of the Isle of Wight festival in 2023, will see headline performances from Robbie Williams, Blondie, Niall Horan, James Bay, Mika and Ella Henderson.
A host of other artists will perform over the course of four days, including Sabrina Carpenter, The Human League, Example, Manic Street Preachers, Flo, Echo & The Bunnymen, The Enemy, The Reytons and Gang of Youths.

How do I get tickets for the Isle of Wight Festival?
Tickets are still on sale through Ticketmaster, with weekend camping tickets from £205 for under 17s and £230 for adults.
Day tickets for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the festival are also available.
Ticketmaster also has a resale policy for the event, allowing people to sell their ticket through the operator.
You can also choose to buy now and pay later, spreading the cost of a ticket over a three-, six-, nine-, or 12-month installment plan.
How to get to the Isle of Wight Festival
Due to its location, you will need to take a ferry from one of the four ferry ports to get to the Isle of Wight festival.
The mainland ferry ports serving the Isle of Wight are at Southampton, Portsmouth, Lymington and Southsea.
Red Funnel offers two services for people traveling on foot: the ferry from Southampton to East Cowes and the Red Jet from Southampton to West Cowes.
There are bus stations at both terminals of Cowes where you can board a bus that will take you to the festival site itself.
Wightlink offers two services for people traveling on foot: the ferry from Lymington to Yarmouth and the catamaran from Portsmouth harbor to Ryde.
Both island terminals are served by buses, which take you directly to the Isle of Wight Festival.

A hovercraft service runs from Southsea to Ryde, taking just 10 minutes to cross the Solent.
Festival goers traveling by car can also board ferry services to the Isle of Wight, with parking available within the festival grounds.
The Big Green Coach will also run directly to the festival in the UK on Thursday 15 June, with an additional London service on Friday 16 June.
