Isabelle Huppert, 70, shows off her sharp sense of style in a silver-fringed dress as she attends the Maestro premiere at the Venice Film Festival

Isabelle Huppert made a tense figure on Saturday when she attended the Maestro premiere at the Venice International Film Festival along with other celebrities.

The 70-year-old actress, who hails from Paris, showed off her striking sense of style on the red carpet when she stepped out in a dress with silver fringes.

She was the epitome of French sophistication in the bold statement dress, featuring a high neckline, long fringed sleeves and a maxi length.

The beauty also opted to style her blonde locks in wet waves for the glitzy event and donned a glamorous makeup look.

To complete the unique look, the French actress also opted for a pair of chunky high-heeled boots to make a bold statement.

As she graced the red carpet, Isabelle seemed in her element as she posed for several cheeky snaps.

Notably absent from the occasion was Bradley Cooper, who stars in the film as composer Leonard Bernstein, as much of Hollywood is staying away from the red carpet due to the ongoing strike action by the WGA and SAG-AFTRA.

Cooper plays the role of the legendary musical conductor in the film opposite Carey Mulligan, who plays his wife Felicia Montealegre, with the film exploring their relationship.

Maestro was named as one of this year’s most anticipated releases and marks Cooper’s first project as a director since his Oscar-nominated A Star is Born.

After a trailer and publicity stills were released, Bradley’s use of a prosthetic nose drew strong criticism from a number of leading members of the Jewish community, who accused Cooper of resorting to “Jewface” in his portrayal.

The Venice Film Festival kicked off its 80th edition this week and the festival has a lot in store for its guests, as Saturdays host events such as Giorgio Armani’s ‘One Night Only’ haute couture celebration.

The spectacular amFAR Venezia gala will take place on Sunday.

It comes after Isabelle hit the LA syndicalist red carpet at the Venice Film Festival last year and showed up in yet another picture-perfect ensemble after her glitzy event.
