Instagram influencer Beauty Couch is found dead in Georgia near a burning car, Eugene Louis-Jocques is arrested days later in Louisiana

The boyfriend of a famous Instagram influencer, Beauty Couch has been arrested and charged with murder after her body was found near a burnt-out car last week Georgia.
Eugene Louis-Jocques, 21, of Naples, Florida, has been charged with murder, arson and aggravated assault.
He was apprehended in Louisiana by the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Proactive Enforcement Unit and is now awaiting extradition to Georgia.
“Let’s get the message out that we don’t take kindly to people who think they can commit a crime elsewhere and try to hide in St. Tammany Parish,” Sheriff Randy Smith said.
“We have been happy to assist our colleagues in Georgia by locating and taking into custody this suspect so that he can appear in court and bring Ms. Couch’s family shut down at this difficult time.”

Couch’s body was found near a burnt-out car on Wednesday afternoon
According to the sheriff’s office, Louis-Jocques was Couch’s boyfriend.
Officials have not revealed a motive for the murder.
Couch, 22, was an Austell-based Instagram influencer best known for her roller skating and dance videos.
The student had about 150,000 followers on the photo-sharing app and recently launched her own roller skating classes.
‘She was a sweet girl. She never bothered anyone. She never bothered anyone. She was a friend to everyone,” said her mother, Kimberly Couch.

The roller skater’s body was found on the afternoon of August 23 near a vehicle that was engulfed in flames.
In an initial statement, the Cobb County Police Department noted, “Based on the initial investigation at the scene, foul play is suspected, and anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Cobb County Police Department.”
The fire department first learned from Couch’s family that the car they found was driven by the influencer, who had not been seen since the morning before.
Police then returned to the area where the vehicle was found and discovered Couch’s body in the forest line, the release said.
